We've all heard Auld Lang Syne and most of us have probably heard New Year's Day by U2.

Some of us may even consider It's the End of the World (as we know it) by R.E.M. as a good song for the New Year that is the end of the Mayan calendar.

In fact any songs about Remembering the Past, Planning for the Future or Celebrating in general (Big Wheels by Down With Webster) could be considered a good song to ring in the New Year.
