Cars

I really like the craftsmanship and power of some of those old muscle cars, but they're just not for me.

I prefer this mode of transportation myself.

What if I give you one of these would you say the same thing?:cwink:

I'm scared to have something like that in my neighborhood.

It'll be gone after 3 days.

I'd love to get myself a Lincoln MKS, but I probably won't be able to afford one until I'm in my thirties at least. :(

Anyway, I think the 2010 Buick Lacrosse looks somewhat promising.

It has a lot of sheet metal in the rear, but I like it.

It looks like a poor man's Lexus. :p If I make enough money over the summer and land a full-time automotive position, I'll have my eyes on this or the 2010 Taurus.

At least the Lacrosse will no longer look like a car for senior citizens like it does now:

It's still a decent car, but it's just not quite for me.

I see some prefer Hydrogen but there s more advantage in an electric car .With the technology going so fast we will have smaller battery which mean more space for the passengers side.

Ok, I have a new favorite car to invest for next year or so:

We've known rough performance numbers on the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe for some time now: 0-60 in under six seconds, up to 30 mpg with the 2.0T, and so on. But one set of key numbers has eluded us until now: price. Hyundai's rear-drive performance hopeful will weigh in at $22,000 for the base 210-hp 2.0L turbo model, and the 306-hp 3.8L V6 will start at $25,000.

Despite being the price leader, the 2.0T still piles on a lot of kit including a six-speed manual transmission, a full compliment of brake-related electronics (ABS, traction control, brake force distribution, and brake assist) and 18-inch alloys wrapped in Bridgestone Potenzas. Standard creature comforts include keyless entry, cruise control, air conditioning, leather wrapped wheel and shifter, a six-speaker AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 player with USB port and steering wheel audio controls, and Bluetooth.

Tuner types and gearheads will probably be most interested in the newly announced mid-priced 2.0T R-Spec model ($23,750). Hyundai has chosen not to make the R-Spec a stripped-out lightweight performance model. As such, the model still includes things like the aforementioned six-speaker stereo, air-conditioning and remote keyless entry, but the 137-mph coupe also gets Hyundai's full compliment of performance hardware, including uprated Brembo brakes, stiffened suspension, a Torsen limited-slip differential, and 19-inch gunmetal alloys wrapped with summer tires.

The exterior isn't very impressive, but if it's delivering the kind of performance as the 09 Sedan, then I won't care. :D

Yeah, the MKS is very impressive (for the money, and for its class), but there's a reason why mostly older people drive them. :(

Maybe if I win the lottery one day..

The 09 Infiniti M35x and Lexus GS 350 are better cars, but for the money, I guess you can consider the MKS a luxury car for the working upper middle class. :D

I also like the design. I remember when I saw it for the first time I Thought every car will start having doors opening upward.

When I saw this car the first time it was love at first sight! :woot::heart:

I voted American. We ordered one of the new Camaro's back in Oct and it should get to our dealer in April we hope

2010 Ford Fusion

and Fusion Sport:

I'm not fond of the Black and Black w/ red, but when the car debuts next month, there'll be about 8 exterior colors to choose from. So far, as far as American cars go, this is in my top 5 to look out for this year.

I might even trade up my 07 Fusion for it if I can get a good discount. The 3.5L V6 Sport sounds really good so far.

I'm also becoming a huge fan of the Mazda6 and its 270HP 3.7L V6:

Never buy a Hyundai :nono:

Maybe they've improved in the last few years but everyone I have ever known with a Hyundai complained how easily and early they break down. They look nice and the interior is pretty good for the money but there is a reason they are so cheap. They dont last typically.

When does this come out again? :p

The Genesis Coupe looks really good, but my plans might have to change if I get accepted to working at an American automotive facility. The union has a strict policy against non-American cars...It's not a huge deal, but they make employees who drive non-American cars park in a lot like 1.5 miles away from the entrance.

I enjoy a long walk as much as the next guy, but I couldn't deal with it every morning at 6:30am. :p

But, let's continue to gaze at the 2010 Genesis Coupe anyway:
