Given that Schumacher cast Kilmer as Batman because he thought he was cool and also gave a good performance in Tombstone, I wonder if he made the first film he would have wanted and gotten Bruce Willis as Batman due to Die Hard.

Schumacer decides to tell the story of a much younger , rookie, Batman in addition to his rogues gallery being made up of villains at the start of their careers.

I think he would have known not to have 4 villains in the first film but he might have had both Joker and the Penguin or Joker and the Riddler.

I could also see Gibson as Jor El.

As for Willis as Batman, he actually doesn't look that bad in the cowl this BvS manip

Lately, I've been mostly caught up in the " Film Casting in previous time period" and the "What If MCU" threads, so I haven't posted that much in this one until the past month.

It's been awhile since I've come up with a new plot outline for a DC film.

As far as Bridges goes, I thought of Bridges in part due to his show Seahunt from the 1960s. I also could totally see him as a guy living in a quite life in a seaport town.
I also tried to use some Aquaman characters from the comics I hadn't used in my previous Aquaman casting posts , including another love interest beside Mera.

Story: A year after the events of Justice League Divided, the tide has began to turn against a politically weaken President Lex Luthor. Bruce Wayne, having defeated Jean Paul Valley has reclaimed the cowl, Diana has returned from with her powers renewed, Jon Stewart has defeated Parallax, and has taken on the Green Lantern mantle, The Green Arrow has reclaimed his spirit and returned with a new purpose, Aquaman is ready to take back the thrown, and the Flash has emerged from the speed force with startling new insights into Luthor's next steps.

At the same time ,Lex faces and even greater threat in the mysterious return of Superman. Having been distracted by their own tribulations and their own rites of passage, the Justice League is ready to unite to take down Lex Luthor.

All the while, Lois Lane, working with Oracle and Nightwing, has found enough proof to tie Luthor to the Legion of Doom , in addition to tying him to the events which destabilized the United States and led to his own election. Luthor knows his enemies are at the gate. With several members of his evil alliance already defeated, a cornered Luthor finds himself under siege in the White House, with one dangerous card left to play .

In a desperate attempt to destroy the Justice League, and to stay in power, a strikes a bargain which leads to a deadly escalation in Lex's war with the JL. Lex's new bargain involves the enlisting of a calvary of terrorists ,and intergalactic tyrants, including Ra's Al Ghul , General Zod, Brainiac, and Darkseid.

With Reverse Flash, Ocean Master, Deathstroke, Ares, and Sinestro already in tow, he knows that a showdown is coming , and he's willing to put the whole planet at risk in a desperate attempt to remain the most powerful man on the planet.

After learning of these plans, the newly reformed Justice League knows that this is their last chance to stop Luthor and his deadly Legion of Doom once and for all. As a result, Jonn Jones puts out a call to other heroes around the planet to assist the JL in preventing massive invasion in addition to Luthor's final power grab. The question is, will reinforcements arrive in time to stop Lex? In the end, everything hangs in the balance in a battle that will take place at high noon on land, sea, air, and in outer space.

With the Snyder, Nolan, Burton, and Schumacer castings I recently did, I was going for resemblance to the original actors as opposed to choosing actual actors I'd have in the roles, though, in alot of cases, the lookalikes actually wouldn't have been bad in those parts imo.

For instance, I wouldn't have Brolin as a TDK trilogy Batman if I were really going for who fit the part , but he did resemble Christian Bale when he was younger.

Jones and Murphy both have a passing resemblance which is why I chose him. But you're totally right in terms of actual casting. I can't imagine the guy who sang Daydream Believer as the guy who creates nightmares.

I also like your modern day BR choices.
Waltz as Max would be interesting, and I think Jack Black could surprise people as Oswald Cobblepot.
