Kinnear as Pym was the easiest slam dunk casting (outside of Maguire, obviously) for me to make, believe it or not. Was really looking for some inspired choices that had a history of working with Raimi. Didn't wanna overload with megastars like Cruise and DiCaprio, go with people based on looks (and not acting ability) like Chris Klein or add actors already in other major film franchises like John Cho. Think I found a nice balance of ready-made stars, rising stars and character actors that were realistically available at the time.

You know, I've never thought of Jason Lee for Peter Parker, but he actually would have been a good 1990s era , college to grad -school aged Peter Parker.

He could be snarky, yet I could also see him playing the awkward yet loveable Peter Parker.

The Sinister Six (2016)

The film portrays the Six and it's members as sympathetic enough that can redeem themselves. After breaking out of the Ravencroft Institute, the Six retreat to the Savage Land, a hidden island in the comics which was an ancient preserve to surviving prehistoric species hidden in Antarctica. By the end of the film, Spider-Man joins forces with the Six, who return to New York City, against an interdimensional threat brought on by Doc Ock: the Carnage symbiote.

I think he would have made a good Bruce Banner.

He's such a great actor .

I really think he could have brought depth and complexity to the role. He could play timid and cerebral, but he can also play lighter hearted and charming.

I could totally see him being terrified of this creature inside him that he can't control , while at the same time, having a strong moral code .

I could see him as the type of man who could be on the run, all while, helping people along the way, even at risk to himself.

I'd also love to see him in the MCU.
