When I was in college, I remember hearing quite a bit about the Cranberries. I decided to watch this video for the first time when I heard about her death and I read a little background on why they wrote the song. It was quite admirable. RIP to her. May God grant her peace.

Update re Dolores O'Riordan

"The Metropolitan Police announced that Dolores' death "is not being treated as suspicious" and confirmed the case has now been passed to a coroner, who will be tasked with establishing the cause and circumstances of her death.

A spokesperson from the Westminster coroner's office told The Irish Daily Mirror on Wednesday "The post-mortem, at the moment, is scheduled for tomorrow [Thursday 18 January]."

The coroner could not confirm when the results would be issued, but it is believed the results will be shared by the weekend."

Just heard about Dolores . I'm totally shocked and saddened. The Cranberries was one of the bands that got me into writing and playing music in the early 90s.

Linger and Dreams are two of my favorite songs of the 90s, and I loved her voice and her passion. Its so sad that two of my favorite singers of the 90s, Tom Petty and now Dolores , have left us so soon.

I'm gonna listen to the Cranberries tonight in tribute of her.

That's a name from my childhood. Jason King was one of the chief inspirations for the Austin Powers character.
