This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]476493[/split]
How does theI read somewhere thatRhino fight end ?Is this true?the film ends with that fight and we will see its continuation in TASM 3.
Well look at this way, it was 2002, this genre was still in its infancy, Raimi had one chance to make the movie a hit and imo did the right thing with going the the beat villain there is. At that time movies were made one at a time
While nowadays a trilogy is more or less assured when one begins a franchise giving the writers more freedom to think about a wider arc and use a smaller villain in the first movie and the bigger villains later
About the costume, I liked how it was a flight suit, made the story more plausible, I wont be able to take him seriously if he runs around in a green and purple rubber spandex. Though agree that they should have made a different kind of mask.
@RaZaTrOn, the first thing i poster was a joke, and thanks for the clarification of the second part, anyway

Guys I new here!! I dont really care about critics review..
spidey fans out there! I wanna hear from you guys . Is this the definitive spidey film?
What this film teaches us is that the pursuit of truth, right and love is not happily ever after – this is stark realism, interspersed in battle scenes between a hybrid Spider-Man and a monster powered by electricity. It is impressive, nail-biting stuff in cinematic feats of CGI and design.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 isn’t full of cheap gunfights nor sugar-coated happy endings, it is a struggle from beginning to end – for Peter, for Gwen, for Aunt May, for Harry, for Max. It is gripping, tragic and surprisingly meaningful. The web-like mass of interlinking stories make for a truly powerful depiction of this hero’s greatest battle. If you don’t walk out of the cinema with a lapful of popcorn and tears, you didn’t have your 3D glasses on right.

I like how reviews for this film and I mean even the good ones have convinced people this film will be terrible
I think amongst traditional critics, this film will be met with critiques on a busy plot and frustrating loose ends.
However, as a comic fan, this sounds pretty much exactly what a comic book is. You have a main issue resolved by the end of an arc's end, but many seeds get planted for what's coming next throughout.
It's not an approach much used in film, and for all we know (I haven't seen the movie) maybe they didn't handle those comic-like aspects as well as they should have. However, I'm holding out hope that they did.
But guys, even if these critics end up being wrong about it, some of you really need to stop just writing off critics because they don't agree with you. You haven't seen it yet, they have. I'm as optimistic as anyone, but that doesn't mean you have to be a bigot about it.
I'm not saying you are, but there are absolutely some people here who would write off even the most concise and well thought out negative review.
