Though not all of them had their own theme, of the ones that did, which was the best?

Molina's ock.

I will say, Dehaan's goblin had that siren-like tune at the beginning that I thought was really cool, reminded me of the 90s theme song

Elfman's Ock theme is incredible. The chanting in Zimmer's Electro theme always gets me pumped.

Elfmans Ock theme was great, easily the best

After that it's a bit murkey, nothing really stands out that much.

I really liked "I'm Goblin" from TASM2, was super intense. I suppose that's second for me? I really don't know after Ock to be honest

Ock's theme was almost mechanical sounding.

If/when the MCU Spidey films get made, should they keep in the tradition of giving the villains themes? I imagine Mysterio's would be suitably ethereal and sinister. Kraven's would probably have jungle drums.

The symbiote.
Because it's the one I remember the most.

Definitely! I've always imagined Kraven's theme would sound similar to the tune of Be Prepared from Lion King. I love playing high energy jungle beats like that!

Also, I'd like them to do intro credits for the films again, like in the original trilogy. However it would be cool if the animation was a big more involved, like a Bond intro. It'd be awesome if they just opened with a orchestral version of the 60s theme song, or they could even go rock with it (I feel like I'm the only one who thinks rock music in action films is still cool :oldrazz:)

Doc Ock, but Young's train fight rather than Elfman overall Doc Ock theme.

Well, the ASM films had pop/rock music playing in a lot of scenes (some of it was awkward, but still). So, who knows? Whenever Kraven appears in the games, those tribal drums always pop up. How about Vulture? I imagine something screeching and chaotic, something...birdlike, I guess.

Something twisted. This is going to sound like an odd reference but the Frantic Factory theme from Donkey Kong 64 always reminded me of Vulture's Mad Tinkerer personality

(Except less cartoony of course)

Doc Ock's theme is probably my favorite. I also enjoyed Sandman's theme very much which I found to be somewhat reminiscent of it.

I like it, but that creepy, carnivalesque vibe would be better suited to someone like Mysterio.

The music in the 2002 game always struck me as fitting for Vulture. The flutes and woodwinds have this stormy, airborne vibe. Maybe have the strings or synthesizers make an eagle scream.

Awesome track!

They could also do something reminiscent of Hitchcock's The Birds. Captures the Terror from Above aspect perfectly

I can never seem to remember scores from movies. Music doesn't make much of an impression on me. I liked those buzzing sounds that accompanied Electro, although it struck me more as effects than actual music.

The two tracks actually sound somewhat similar. Maybe the game developers took some inspiration? And oh God, The Birds. That movie freaked me out more than any other Hitchcock thriller. Not even Psycho was as frightening. Add some bird noises to Vulture's theme and you've got yourself some musical nightmare fuel.

I would like something like this for Mysterio

Scares me more than any grindhouse film out there (my second favorite Hitchcock, only to Rear Window)

And that's actually really hypnotic, I like it! I think organs work well for mysterio, something that entrances. I feel like looking at classic horror scores for inspiration and adding more modern techno flare to it would be best.

Those classic Hammer Horror films would be perfect as inspiration. It would also suit Mysterio's aesthetic to a T.

:woot: the score for Christopher Lee's Dracula comes to mind!

Doc Ock's score is very reminiscent to classic horror as well
