DC Animation Young Justice Cartoon - Part 10

Has there been any update on season 3 - like have they started production? What VA's are all returning? Is it going to be on netflix?

Last time Greg was asked about it, it was still in pre-pre-production. He learned about YJ being renewed a week before the official announcement and didn't start working until the week after.

I wouldn't expect anything until late 2017/early 2018.

Various sources have said that all the original Voice Actors are confirmed to come back now.

That's a good sign. Including Wally West's.

That would be cool. Has he ever shown up in any animated shows?

Just the DC Nation shorts, as far as I know:

^^Heh. Never saw those. It would be cool to see a non comedic take on him.

Hey Dread. We want you back for recaps and reviews on the Hype. It's time!

I know we'll probably have one but I really dont want another 5/10 year time jump.

I believe Greg said that there will be another time jump but not as big. Don't quote me tho.

You can't really do a big time jump and still have it be Young Justice, unless you are gonna do an entirely new cast again.

There is 1 more generation to go through so its possible.

Time jumps and a romantic pairing for everyone.

DC Entertainment is expanding its digital footprint.

The company is teaming with Warner Bros. Television for a new digital service launching in 2018, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Two of the first series offered on the new platform will be a live-action series, Titans, from exec producers Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter, as well as an animated series, Young Justice: Outsiders.

More to come...

In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage superheroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of superpowers, super villains and super secrets. In the new season, the team faces its greatest challenge as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.

Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) is executive producing. The show’s creators Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman are producers; with the series’ Phil Bourassa also returning to serve as art director.

Titans focusing on Dick Grayson while Chris McKay develops his Nightwing movie. Lot of original Boy Wonder coming to live action.

Really excited for season 3 of Young Justice...love the Outsiders subtitle!

Also quite intrigued by this new digital platform that will combine video with comic books. I'm in!

For WB/DC, launching a dedicated platform is a good idea especially when they've been screwed over by places like Cartoon Network.

I wonder if we might see archive DC stuff along with new content.

They definitely need archive content. They're sitting on so much of it anyway, and there's no way they could produce enough new content to populate an entire streaming service launch.

Between TV/film, both live action and animation, that's a lot.

I wonder if the shows that have specific deals with other streaming services will come over? Netflix has Flash, iZombie, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends, and Gotham. Hulu has Lucifer. CW Seed has Constantine, Birds of Prey, Vixen, the Constantine webseries, the Ray webseries, and a few of the DCUA Original Movies.
