Agent Carter Agent Carter - S01E03 "Time & Tide"

...wait....I haven't seen Dugan. Wasn't he supposed to be on this show?

I appreciate that.

don't get me wrong, I love watching stuff live. but social security, free healthcare and not being randomly shot by cops? I love that more. :woot:

Haha touché! The episode was pretty good, I think the shows decent so far but I don't think I'd watch it if it wasn't MCU related.

They have a paid tv like Cable and like the free over the air tv HERE for free. A friend of mine is in Germany not too far from RH
yes, TV landscape is a little different over here

so, how was the show so far?
All and All it was GREAT.
basically they (Peg and Jarvis) find Starks missing experiments on a ship with that heart symbol Leet drew in the dirt. A built bad guy attacks them they knock him out SSR comes grabs the guy and Experiments, then the Dumb guy is shot while transporting the bad guy

This was much slower than the previous episodes. Jarvis' American accent during the phone call scene was hilarious. The fight towards the end was decent and I like that Peggy actually used the Stark gadget she had recovered. The ending was kind of sad. RIP Ray Krzeminski.

First, the guy that got killed in the back was not dumb. He could talk. Second, did anyone esle when looking at the assassin who killed both the agent and the guy in the back seat notice that the assassin looked like a.......

WOMAN.

That's what I thought when looking at that scene.

Addon: It was in the waist to hips proportion. It looked like a woman's figure.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the killer at the end was a woman. The rest of my group all agreed that the composure and the way they moved seemed very feminine.

Just my guess but I bet the assassin is the new woman at the woman's boarding house. I think they said she was a dancer with the ballet.

Yup

KGB
Ballet dancers
Brainwash
Spies

Bit of a slower episode here. It's not what I expected, given that the series is not going to be very long. But I enjoyed the look into Jarvis past, that was pretty good.

When we finally got some action,it didn't disappoint.I was actually pleasantly surprised that both Peggy & Jarvis couldn't take the meathead. I was pretty sure they'd make Peggy "superwoman" that could handle any adversary. But it appeared she didn't have "Black Widow" styled training, which after years of Widow & May, was a refreshing change.

Glad to see Bridget (The Actress Who Should've Been Wonder Woman) Regan in the MCU. Since it was only an introduction,I'm guessing she has a more complex role than "neighbor". Can you say...Miss America? (Dare I dream?!?)

So the stocky guy bought it? That really threw me. But I guess, he was getting too close to the truth, and there you go.....

Funniest part when the guy goes "I'll tell his girlfriend" :lmao:

The only part I didn't get was how Peggy wanted to just spill the beans about everything at that point. I get the feeling she's smarter than that, and shouldn't have needed Jarvis to make the point. But,I think it was more an emotional reaction. As if to say "Haven't I earned this yet?" which made it quite sad in a way.

Two week wait? Give me an ever lovin' break!:argh:

lol no, the oaf at SSR. the one who took apart the imploded Roxxon factory
ah, I see. that guy.

well, friends, it is past 4 am, I need a little sleep. It was nice experiencing the episode with you. good night

It was awfully convenient how Molly got outed to the fascist house mistress so I suspect it was done to open a room next to Peggy's for Dottie. But how did they know about Molly? I have suspicions about Angie.

I know a lot of people like the friendship but she seems very clingy and pushy and when she doesn't get her way leans a bit heavy on the emotional mopey poor me blackmail card. Even in a non spy show if she was a guy she'd be setting of stalker alarms. I think she's part of Leviathan.

The guy in the back seat was the bad guy, he was handcuffed to the car door. The SSR OAF was the one driving and got shot when he got out of the car

The only thing I did not like about this episode is the introduction. It just seemed a little cheesy to have that voice-over since most people should already know the score by the third episode.
