Agent Carter Agent Carter - S01E04 "The Blitzkrieg Button"

It would be a shame if he isn't....he's the only decent guy in Peggy's office.

Side note, my wife and I have been fans of his since he was on DOLLHOUSE. It was nice to see him in the AVENGERS movie too.
Where was he in Avengers? I've watched that over 50 times.

wonder if the castle in AoU is the red room
It very well could be. I mean Hydra might have kept Bucky there on ice too, if that's where Strucker was too with SW and QS

I think he was one of the cops during the New York battle in the scene where Cap's giving orders to the NYPD officers.

I believe Zola mentioned Nat's birthdate when listing her off and Steve in TWS.

Zola reading off stats from her "official" file means nothing. That could be her planted cover. They could have her origin be like the books but I don't really see the point of it. All you would do is farther bend the believability line for the casual non-comic book viewer.

I did love this episode. It got dangerously cheesy when that mink guy shot his henchmen but I'm not holding that one minute scene against the entire episode.

Don't you mean the guy who plays Coulson Clark Gregg? Enver Gjokaj wasn't in the Avengers.

okay yeah I think you're right.

Correction I am wrong but it was a blink & miss him role.

Yeah...
and if the little girl isn't BW, then maybe they are cloning them there.
Very well could be Hydras main research facility.

SURE it could be a fake but there's no way she's that old. Besides remember Banner talking to Nat on the hellicarrier, when he mentions the commodore 64 and says you're too young for that.

That pistol's awesome :D the scene deserves to be cheesy lol

The young cop in the battle of New York...the older cop is a semi regular on Tom Selleck's BLUE BLOODS. My wife constantly rolls her eyes when we watch movies because I'm always giving the resume of the character actors.

or just plan one of many Widows.
There were alot of kids being trained for those roles. Including Winter Soldier, but Bucky was put on ice because his body could heal like Steve's, Nat doesn't have that.

okay guys and gals, time for me to lock up. See yall later.

Whedon and the Cap writers Marcus & McFeely have all said that Natasha is a completely unenhanced human. That was one of the reasons Whedon liked writing for her - her perceived vulnerability as a woman and someone without special powers or an iron suit. Feige, Marcus & McFeely said they chose her for TWS to counterbalance Steve not only because he was a spy but because she was very modern and of this time. She doesn't have any the Infinity formula, she's not 80 years old. She was born in 1984. Just like Fury isn't a WWII veteran with it in the MCU.

ok...didn't know that. :-)

So he has the infinity formula as well? :-)

Easter Egg in Avengers:

-"does the army know what's happening here? "

-" Dooley? "

OMG

Loved seeing Stan in tonight's episode.

Another great episode. I love Dominic Cooper's Howard Stark and am only sorry we don't get more of him. I'm really disappointed he's not the one in Ant-Man now. It looks like they changed his background in the comics from silver spoon to working class. He and Hayley have fantastic chemistry. Their scene over the vial of Steve's blood was first rate.

I really liked that this episode showed once again everyone, even the *****e bags being good at their jobs. It would be a cheap and easy way out to make them incompetent to make Peggy look better. Instead they just make Peggy smarter without dumbing down those around her.

I wonder when Peggy is going to tell *****e #2 that Marge is not the nickname for Margaret that she goes by.

I want a chicken pocket. That buffet scene with all those women seriously eating and hiding food was wonderfully real. There have to be some perks for living under the thumb of Cruella DeVille/The Church Lady.

Yeah I agree.

So, any theories on the Battle of Finau? (Finow? Finnau?)

The description of everyone being all torn up reminded me of a certain small village in the Hunan Province of China (though I doubt there's any connection).

actually, if the blond girl is the original Black Widow and the castle in AoU is the red room where they also kept SW and QS (both who are inhumans), then the battle of Finau would make sense with what you are suggesting.
*edit*
Plus it sets up capt:civil war.
The avengers go there and find a BUNCH of inhumans (or maybe just a list of them). Tony wants them to register with the government and Capt doesn't.

In episode 3 it's says the Battle of Finow took place in 1944 in Germany. Maybe a HYDRA experiment but they seem to be dealing with Levitation Leviathan on this show instead.

One quibble or rather question about this episode. If Jarvis was in on it why didn't he looks through the crates of the Bad Babies when they found them and retrieve the blood sample? I'll have to watch again to see if he had any time alone after the phone call and the fight and the police showing up.
