Might also explain some of the things found in the East River.

What a brilliant idea! I hope the writers had that in mind when they wrote the scene. That gives us some interesting possible storylines in the future.
It probably wouldn't be Alexander Pierce, since he's either not born yet, or a part of any organization in 1946.Thank you very much Best Girl.
Surely common sense would dictate that those two prisoners were prime candidates for an 'isolation' setting/confinement. Other hands are pulling these strings!
that woman working on Romanoff in that AOU flashback scene
Im really hoping it's an older Dottie
no? Just me?
ok then
I don't think we need a season of Arnim and Faustus working behind Peggy's back to grow Hydra. Remember, Peggy loses that battle...and in fact never even knew that it was a battle that needed to be fought. It can't make her look good to show her being completely played and never catching on. If there is a second season, I think they should move as much away from Hydra as possible...mention it if necessary...but lets keep Carter away from the people who end up taking over her group and almost destroying the world.
Which week/when was that? (i.e. was it recent enough that it could've been for the AOU reshoots? or was it before then?)Also, no Steve flashback so why did Evans shave his beard for that one week...
1991, not 70's (you might be thinking of Tony's birth that occurs in 1970)Since Howard survives until his murder in the 70's...
There was always the possibility that the One-shot would be removed/retconned out of MCU canon by this - it was a discussion that came up quite frequently.Consider me... underwhelmed by this end.
Anyone else notice that this whole show makes the One-Shot 'Agent Carter' ... NOT WORK. We clearly see by the end of this season she's an integral member of the S.S.R. in the eyes of her peers, yet in the one shot she never is until Howard brings her along to form SHIELD.
It doesn't work. It's completely contradicted what is supposed to be MCU Canon.
Or, maybe Zola even has a few prison guards in his HYDRA-shaped pocket and orchestrated that himself.

Personally, with a little twisting and a bit of headcanon, I think it can still possibly fit in. For one, the one-shot's office appears to be a different location (i.e. there's a stairway down in the main room) so it could be a different New York sub-office, she could still be transferred to a new office where they don't know her/she ends up starting over at the bottom of the totem pole again. We know the season finale here takes place in May - that leaves a possible 7 months (since the one-shot also takes place in 1946) for circumstances to shift and change in a way to still allow it.
That's just my personal opinion/take on it though, I know not everyone will agree.
Maybe some right-wing member of the US government.I was taking that possibility into consideration with my theory as well.
But simple guards, with or without some influence by Zola, wouldn't have the authority to place this new, extremely dangerous enemy of the state, with his fantastic, dangerous abilities, into a cell, with the freaking Red Skulls, leading Nazi scientist, co-hort. Just dont see it. Plus, you would imagine that they would both be monitored at a high level. Higher authorities would definately not let them be together. Unless someone at a higher level made the arrangement and implemented it through his control of the staff at the facility.

Even without be in the same cell, they could have spoke in the facility when they eat/ go outside/etc It doesn't really change anything.I was taking that possibility into consideration with my theory as well.
