A new 3DS Mario game seems like it would be a logical choice, which makes me doubt it will happen. But you never know, Nintendo does have to answer to its shareholders at the end of the day.

I'm assuming when you say Mario, you're talking about a 3D Land 2 or NSMB 3 and not a spin-off. Because I do think we'll see something like that, but probably 2016. This year is pretty Mario-loaded as is, so I don't expect them to launch anymore Mario in 2015.

EDIT: Well, excluding mobile games, because I'm sure ol' Mario will be out front as usual with whatever mobile games they launch.

Well, my thinking is the New 3DS only has one exclusive so far. Xenoblade is a cult hit, but I don't see it having the mass appeal of a household name Nintendo franchise. Nintendo needs a console mover. Especially once sales start to slump post-release hype.

I could imagine a New 3DS Zelda game coming out soon. Maybe a port of Twilight Princess, but that seems like a 2016 thing (for obvious reasons), if it happens at all.

Pokémon is always a possibility.

Ideally, the release date would be holiday season 2015, but it could be 2016. They just need something for it.

Also possible they'll port the new mobile games to it.

It's pretty unlikely that a Mario or Zelda will be N3DS exclusive (well, if they port TP maybe). Pokemon definitely wouldn't be. A spin-off or something could potentially be I suppose, but any kind of mainline entry, nah.

They've said they plan to keep mobile and handheld games and development separate. Who knows how hard they'll stick to that as time goes on, but I at least wouldn't expect it during the remaining 3DS lifespan.

I don't see why Mario Galaxy port would be difficult. Or even Mario Sunshine.

Assuming they intend to keep this system around for at least 2 years, they're going to have to release some other games. In light of the NX speculation, a Mario game seems like the perfect way to calm people down, and to sell the New 3DS.

The Gamecube / Wii ports make the most sense. I agree that a new exclusive Mario game is unlikely, since that means they'd develop a whole new game for a platform with a limited user base. But by porting a Wii game, the costs would be relatively small, and old 3DS owners wouldn't cry bloody murder, since their system really can't handle it.

Ideally Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and maybe a sequel to Double Dash.

Hell, port Tales of Symphonia and Skies of Arcadia.

Rogue Squadron on the New 3DS?

I think we'll be getting an expanded KOTOR remake. Like extremely similar plot, similar settings but bigger, etc. The KOTOR period seems to be the one facet of the old EU that Disney has not completely shunned. The only major difference I think that will get made will be to make it more solidified in Star Wars canon as opposed to what Lucasfilm was doing with it being EU. And thus we would probably get something along the lines of playing exclusively a reformed Jedi Revan as opposed to having the choice of playing a restored Sith Lord Revan.

You mean Media Molecule? They are working on the Tearaway PS4 remaster and thats already been announced for a 2015 release. They arent releasing any other game beyond that this year

Eh, maybe. Maybe just a little announcement during E3 Week and not an actual presentation.

They likely havent even begun actively developing Injustice 2. They may have some concept stuff, but its too early to announce something that likely isnt coming out anytime soon

I wouldn't mind a KOTOR remake, as I never really played the original games.

but, they'd pretty much have to overhaul the character creation system since the creator in KOTOR was rather limited - especially by today's standards.

besides a KOTOR type RPG, though, I'd really love to see a new gen Rogue Squadron type game.

Yes media molecule and this is the first time I have heard of tearway no clue what that is but I have heard for a while that they are working on a bran new game and they have yet to show any thing about that.

Yeah, it might be worth just renaming this E3 2015 and letting this be the dedicated E3 thread this year. Why not, I guess. The event is still a little ways off, but I don't see a lot of point in creating another thread for it.

That is a really weird prediction. Is this actually based on anything, because I, like Soapy, really couldn't see them doing something like this. And it'd be pretty pointless, too, since the whole point of KOTOR was its choice aspect.

I think it'll be on Wii U, but really, you never know. It could go either way.

MM isnt a huge studio. No doubt they are working on an original PS4 title, but Tearaway is taking away alot of their time right now. Its a port so this is givng them the opportunity to release something this year bc they dont have anything else ready

yeah. Last rumor had it at a summer release but that was back in Feb and nothing new since. I see it Fall at the latest and I think Sony might hold it back till then bc it doesnt seem they have much else

I consider it my off the rails prediction. I base it more on how Disney has been treating the Star Wars IP since they acquired it and while they absolutely threw away everything regarding the Expanded Universe, but somehow actually somewhat acknowledge the KOTOR stuff like allowing The Old Republic to remain online and releasing KOTOR on mobile.

But Disney is also working to ensure that their Star Wars continuity is skin tight as opposed to the old ways and the broad choice freedom you had in the original KOTOR kinda goes against Disney's attempts to have a streamlined unified Star Wars timeline. A limited choice system like we had in Dragon Age I see as the more likely option.

I wouldn't mind a Twilight Princess port to the Wii U, but you can always just pop your Wii disc in there.

I would much rather be able to play it anywhere on my New 3DS, than have the luxury of playing it on the Gamepad in my living room, and half my bedroom.

Uncharted 4
Halo 5 stuff
Final Fantasy XV
Star Fox

Hopefully an announcement of a next gen God of War game or something similar by the same studio.

I'm also very interested to see more of Fable Legends.
