From the premiere of The Death of Superman, DC announced, not 3, but 4! DTV movies coming next year!

- REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN, the second part of The Death of Superman, focusing on what happens after Superman’s death, introducing Steel, Cyborg Superman and Conner Kent taking over the Man of Steel's place. Coming out early 2019.

- JUSTICE LEAGUE VS. THE FATAL FIVE, largely Legion of Superheroes villains, they’ve been largely dormant for a while. This is an original story, and there’s much we don’t know about it. Is it set in the future or the present day? Will the Legion appear? Which Justice Leaguers will we see? Only time will tell!

- BATMAN: HUSH, following the two-part Death of Superman/Reign of the Supermen as the latest animated movie based on an acclaimed DC comic storyline, the comic storyline featured popular Bat baddies like Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul and the Joker, but it’s also well known for introducing the villain it’s named after—the bandage-faced Hush; a character never appeared in a DC Universe Movie.

Finally...

- WONDER WOMAN: BLOODLINES. her first film since 2009. Not much is known about this mysterious—but very exciting—bonus movie, but expect to learn more next year.

What do you guys think?

I came in here to say "there better be a WW film" and thank god there is. Now here's to hoping we can get rid of the bland styling we've had forever now.

Yeah, I was amped as hell for the Death/Return of Superman two-parter when it was announced, but plugging it into that universe killed damn near every shred of enthusiasm I had.

I get that it probably saves money to stick with that style/cast, but ugh...

Hush was one the first comic arcs I ever loved, but right now, I'm just not sure.

I wonder if WW will deal with Cheetah, talk about double whammy to have it coincidence with WW:84.

I wonder if all these will be in the animated universe New 52 line.

JL vs Fatal Five, I wonder if it will feature the Legion at all.

Only one I'd be bothered about not being is Hush as I just can't get into Jason O'Mara's Batman. Although silver lining of that story, it features most of Batman's rogues and Superman! Still I guess of they do use the New 52 designs at least the DOS was so good that I wouldn't be worried about it.

A new Wonder Woman DTV is long overdue.

I think Conroy and Hamill have expressed interest in doing Hush.

I hope they do change up the animation.

I hope WW takes influences from Rebirth and the live action movie, such as the costume.

I am looking forward to all of these.

JL vs FF involving Legion of Super-Heroes villains sounds cool, sounds like involving time-travel and the future, could even involve the Legion of Super-Heroes themselves!

I wonder if it will start off in the future and the FF will travel back in time to stop the Legion from existing by destroying the JL.

If they have, lets hope they up their game from 'The Killing Joke'.

To be fair, nothing could’ve saved that. Am still stunned how badly they screwed up one of the most iconic stories in comic book history.

I just hope they ditch the New 52 animation 'style', I appreciate the follow on to the 'Death of Superman' will have to be for continuity's sake, but I hope the rest 'move on' from it, New 52 is finished, Re-birth was introduced for a reason.

Oh, and Hush, :yay: happy.

They were literally the best thing about the movie.

Anyway, a great line-up next year. A nice mix.

If one starts the film at the 'real point' of entry (by-pass the horrendous Babs stuff), then it's not toooooo bad, it's just a whole lack of 'energy' seems to have gone into it, which given the opportunity, seems a real missed one.

Sounds like they could go that way. I hope we get some good future stuff.

Haven’t seen Death of Superman yet but was really hoping visually it wouldn’t stick in that New 52 animated style and universe. Was thinking it would be something along the lines of the adaption of Dark Knight Returns. I’m hoping that’s what Hush does. Would love for them to do Long Halloween and Dark Victory too at some point. If again they approach it like Dark Knight Returns.

Sounds good but im incredible worried.

The DC animated movies have been stuck with a boring style, animation and direction for quite a while now.

Getting a new Wonder Woman and finally Hush sounds good on paper, but sadly i dont trust them to do really good stuff.

I wish they would try to adapt Jim Lee’s style for Hush, but I suspect it will be set in their continuity. Oh well. I’m just glad we’re finally getting Hush!

Next they need to do Long Halloween and Dark Victory. But if they do THAT one in their continuity instead of as a stand-alone, that’s when we riot

Huge fan of DC animated so this is all exciting news!

Especially excited about Hush and WW: Bloodlines!

To be honest, I never was that big on Hush. I’ve always felt Jason Todd should’ve been Hush. It was setting up to that and then they decided not to do that at the time.

And if Catwoman’s gonna be in it, can they finally get Adrienne Barbeau again? Pretty tired of hearing Grey DeLisle (Griffin).

I think Conroy and Hamill have expressed interest in doing Hush.

The thought of seeing that Batman - Joker beatdown from Hush with Conroy's and Hamill's voices is already giving me chills!

"Stop... Batman, stop..." Awesome scene!

Hush is one of those stories where I think some of the parts are better than the whole. There are some awesome scenes that I'd absolutely love to see played out but I don't think it's the overall work of genius that some seem to.

I saw Death of Superman and loved it. Here's the thing guys: you're talking about the costumes, you're talking about canon, and you're not talking about the style. The style is perfect for this, and it is DC now. Not just the DTV, but the same guy who did the designs for these did so on Young Justice. But for DOS, they added some new things. When Superman and Doomsday start fighting, the style slightly alters to that of an awesome anime movie. And it was great.

I know Hush will use this animation style for the reasons I stated, and frankly, that shouldn't stop you all from watching it. If that really does, chances are you weren't going to see it anyway.

Just stop and enjoy.

So Reign of Superman is definitely set in continuity with the other films, and JL vs FF likely is too, though I'd wager it's more of a Legion film than a JL film (ala JL vs TT). Hush will likely be set out of continuity, if the current trend of out of continuity Bat films is anything to go by. Jury is still out on Wonder Woman Bloodlines, but I'm excited that they finally expanded to 4 a year. Sales must be consistent enough to warrant that then huh?
