Does anyone else besides me prefer a Disney Plus X-Men live action series rather than a movie?

I feel that for X-Men a series would work out much better as it will give each character their time to shine and help build up a good story. Perhaps start off with a series that can lead to a movie?

IMO if anybody should be Native, It's Scott. His family comes from Alaska, and considering the state's significant Indigenous population, it would be pretty easy to make his family members of a tribe.

Considering the character's ties to Japan, Logan being full or half Japanese (like me!), could work really well. If he's the latter, it could be part of the reason why Mariko's family rejects Logan, seeing him as a "half breed".

Logan could've also been one of the many Japanese Canadians imprisoned in an internment camp during WW2. Adding a bit of real history/example of discrimination to his character that many people probably have never even heard of

Some further thoughts on casting.

I've mentioned David Oyelowo as Xavier before.

John Hamm as Graydon Greed. I think the Friends of Humanity would make a good first villain for the X-men as opposed to a traditional supervillain and John Hamm could play that charismatic demagogue.

Nick Frost as Beast. I'm picturing beast as a cool uncle figure to the X-men so I think casting a comedian could work. Katie Leung as Moira McTaggart. A small faculty role to begin with she could take on a larger role in future films. Take the character back to her scientist background from the comics.

Primarily thinking unknowns for the students but I like Aidan Gallagher (number 5 in Umbrella Academy) as Quentin Quire and Millie Bobby Brown as Rogue. I feel like Millie is a cert for one role or another in the MCU, they'll want to snatch her up.
