Speaking of, I'm rewatching Alien Vs Predator. This movie is stupid but it's fun, idc. Still ranks low on my ranking though.

It’s the only one of that series I enjoyed. It’s nowhere as good as the other movies but it’s cheesy fun.

Something that is lost on a section of people who complain about it being a 90lb female compared to 250lb oiled and pumped up male. As if it makes any difference to an Alien being, able to upercut and gorilla press an 800lb grizzly bear, lol.

Indeed. Its been a baked-in part of the franchise from the beginning that Standard Action Hero Shenanigans don't do it against a Predator. Its bigger, stronger, and better than you at it. To win, you have to use the tactics of weakness, and that absolutely applied even with Ahnuld.

I've always wondered who actually owns the rights to the design of the predator is it the Late Stan Winston or some old fox executive?

French trappers were a bit too over the top for my liking tbh.

Considering in real life they're mostly pos for accelerating the fur trade, I'm okay with them being the way they're depicted being over the top.

Also I thought Dan Trachentberg did a great job doing the parallel of the fur traders with the Predators.

i fully bought the concept that they have a specific place that they do this battle but the predators were comically big and 2 die way to fast to one Alien but i enjoyed it for what it was

With the movie being as short as it was, I wouldn't have minded just shedding the light on how the fur trappers even knew there was a Pred out there.

I would put Mark Hamill's Zoanoid look from the 1991 Guyver in there. That was straight up nightmare fuel for me as a kid.
