X-Men The Official MCU X-Men News and Discussion Thread

So a 2028-2029 is looking more likely in terms of an X Men team film.

As I suspected ,and feared (I'm not gonna lie), we're looking at the end of the decade before we see the rebooted versions of the X Men get their own film.
I'm too old for that. What if I croak before then? :p

We'll all have to keep physically fit for the rest of the decade at least to see this thing:funny:.
Maybe we'll get the senior citizens discount in time for the first X Men film released!

This will be me. :D I've already got the white hair to match, lol.

Honestly it sucks when Marvel Studios has to make movies for like a dozen ips before getting to the X-Men.

I honestly don't anticipate Thunderbolts and another Captain America/Deadpool which is 3/4 of their 2024 movie slate (if they aren't delayed). And who knows how many new characters will get their own movie before Marvel Studios' X-Men.

At this rate, we're gonna need one of these to get a sneak peek at The MCU X Men debut.:funny:

And I'll look like this by the time the film is released.:funny:

Oh please don't. We don't want anybody going to the future and watch a X-Men movie in the cinemaX because that would serious alter the time of events which could lead to a X-Men movie being erased in the Multiverse.

It’s a waiting game till Secret Wars is done and the new phase begins after that. I’ll hopefully enjoy most of the films leading up to that though.

Maybe the X-Men board will have the healthiest members with us all having a big reason far away to stay alive for. :D

Mutation is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.

Reposting some SNL X-Men related comedy from the Civil War thread posted by @Drizzle

Two questions: Which mutant is Jenna Ortega going to play in the MCU and how did SNL's costume department whip up a better "X-Men" costume than about 75% of the costumes in the Fox movies?

Would love if there was a role for Jenna Ortega.

I was thinking she'd make a good Rogue , though in the sketch version reminded me more of the angsty, Paquin version, than the classic 90s version.

Still, with Jenna as Rogue and Nico Parker as Jean, you've got two of your X Men right there, though, they'll probably be part of other CBM franchises by the time Marvel Studios gets around to the X Men reboot. :concern:.

If we get people on this level and with this potential, the X-Men are going to be very popular with new younger viewers too.

Remembered my other requirement for an X-writer. Straight white male whose favorite character is Kitty Pryde. They get ****ing weird with their crush, man....

Also the War Room, which we never really got. Something cool and Trek-y would be nice.
Yeah curious about that too.

I remember the little scene in X2 in which Storm was telling the Wolverine the insides of the water dam and there was a hologram. Then in X1, right through the end there wasa cool device, when the Wolverine was about the leave.
