I'm Reading Your Stuff: General News and Discussion Thread

I don't really know how him appearing in a couple episodes would make this a "full blown Batman show" lol. That's another argument I reaaally hate. He'd be a character in a story, just like how there are many other characters other than Oz in this story. It doesn't really make this a Batman show any more than Sofia having a really prominent role would make it a "Sofia Falcone show". Hell, you look at shows like Boardwalk Empire and they had tangents all the time about other storylines with other characters that never even interacted with Buscemi's character, doesn't mean it ever stopped being Nucky Thompson's show.

Logistically again, it'd have been very easy since Pattinson was doing absolutely nothing in the months this was filming. But then again, I guess we can't guarantee it either way. I'm just really, really hoping they actually gave Batman a good use, rather than resorting to use him like all the other streaming genre spin-off shlock that it seems that this show (nvm this whole universe) desperately wants to seem different from. For them to resort to a trope as overplayed as that would be disappointing.
Maybe my timeline is off but wasn't Pattinson's partner also pregnant during most of that whole period? It wouldn't be all that shocking if he was taking personal time as well. The pace of his career slowing down feels like a deliberate break to me.

Nope. She got pregnant during.. July, I think. When the show wasn't shooting at all in the middle of the strikes. They obviously would not have accounted for that, and I doubt that if they had a role for him where he was signed on in the episodes filmed post-strike they'd have written him out because of that lol This stuff would've been planned out and signed waaaay before she got pregnant.

And idk. The thing is, before the strikes, Pattinson's schedule looked something like this:

December 2022: He wraps Mickey17
August 2023: He begins filming the Adam McKay cancelled movie.

So there was a huge 8 month gap in between and coincidentally it was the same time period in which The Penguin would've been filming, and it'd have ended just as The Penguin wrapped.

Something that I also found notable is he was seen working out /a lot/ during that period, particularly in November or so. He got back into his The Batman shape quick. And it may have been just a personal thing or for that Dior commercial, but idk. It would not be surprising to me if it was because of this and maybe having a more active role or whatever towards the end episodes.

What night and at what time was Pattinson's child conceived?
Sukhi Waterhouse is a spiritual person. Given that, it is highly likely that they copulated during the July 2nd super moon…also called a buck moon, because in ancient times people believed fertility was highest during a super moon, so they’d get “buck” naked. Give Pattinson’s strength of character, he almost assuredly got her pregnant immediately, or 16.7% faster than the average male who tells a girl that he doesn’t need a condom and that it “won’t happen to them baby”. If he got her pregnant 16.7% faster, that means there’s a 69% chance that she’s 100% pregnant by 9:00am on July 3rd, which means that Pattinson would have had time to film 14.83 scenes between fatherly duties, Sukhi’s eventual lower back pain, the Adam McKay cancelled film, and liberating Matt Reeves from James Gunn’s basement where he was forced to watch the Killing Joke on repeat because Gunn wants to metaphorically kill the audience with jokes, but none of that matters because it’s all schlock which rhymes with Bullock which is another character Pattinson is playing in the Penguin.

I’m still kind of feeling Josh Hartnett if I’m being honest. He has that classic Two-Face look and he can certainly pull off the rage and internal conflict.

Though, there’s still some other choices that are good as well.
I love the notion of Hartnett being older than Pattinson too... even though I like the idea of an Abbott or Goth.

Having Harvey being a little more seasoned due to school and working up the ranks to an ADA or DA, he'll (or she'll) may need to be older than Bruce.

You guys joke but Pattinson fangirls actually calculated the baby was probably born on March 7th.

I say this with genuine and sincere curiousity

How in the **** do you know that and why :funny:

Invader, buddy, why!?

Not that being on a Pattinson fan girl site is any lamer than any of us being on here. Let’s not kid ourselves.
Back during The Batman days those sites were actually /extremely/ useful in terms of checking for set pics and interviews and stuff. Now it's just been a habit to check in what they say every once in a while haha

This one for example has pretty extensive compilations of all the set pics that were taken and also all the print interviews and articles: Home > Movie Productions > The Batman - Pattinson Photos

The silver lining I choose to see in the new release date is that it’s far back enough that they might end up surprising us by moving it up a bit.

I mean, I like the idea of Batman in October, but Jesus Christ…

I doubt they'll do that as they seem to specifically want that release date because of the way Joker performed on it.

They're shooting Part II & III back-to-back guys, relax.
