Thor/God of Thunder - Chris Hemsworth

My preference would be:

Hair- A toned-down version of the End Battle of Engame, with the gnarly hair and braided beard
Body- Jacked
Eye- Patched
Costume- Halfway between his Age of Ultron and "Roadworn" Ragnarok looks: Sleeveless, mostly black, but still having the metallic discs, and with a tattered cape
Helmet- Bring that thing from Ragnarok back! just dirty it up a bit, make it a bit less plastic looking
Pretty much my choice as well. Minus the helmet.

I enjoy him having two eyes since I think the glowing eyes of his battle form look better that way. Just the one glowing eye doesn't really pop as much as an effect to me.

yep you definitely had a point

Thor: Love and Thunder Director Sheds Doubt on "Fat Thor" Showing Up Again
Speaking on Instagram for a live watch-a-long of Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder director/writer Taika Waititi cast doubt on the return of "Bro Thor" by saying: "We haven't figured that out, but I feel like that's done."

Good. Happy to see him go back to his usual form. Hopefully they'll keep some of the hair and beard.
They could have in store the best looking version of Thor yet. They just need some adjustments.

Good News that Fat Thor will never show up again. I hope he will look more like Endgame / Raganrok again. That was an awesome look.

I was ecstatic at the reveal Thor had his long blonde hair back in Endgame. Never cut it again please.

I'm happy for him to have long hair again, but I would prefer if they shaved the beard and hair down just a little, so that it's closer to how it was in TDW/AOU/Start of Ragnarok.

Oh totally, I just mean don't make him a generic short-back-and-sides brunette again. I agree that the start of Ragnarok is the best he's ever looked.

This concept art from Ragnarok featuring a version of the "roadworn" look is badass.

I saw someone pointing this out on twitter.
I mean how cool would it be to see Thor riding on a pegasus. Similar to when Odin showed up in Jotunheim back in Thor 1.

Sure, although it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, given that he can fly with Stormbreaker.

the Pegasus should be Valkyrie‘s thing

I liked the idea that Thor wanna be Valkyrie as a kid, it would be a nice diversity scene to give him a moment like that.

I was thinking about TLT and had some fun inspiration.
Some of the concept art was earth based blending asgardian flair with earth costumes, life... Also we'll have Jane Foster back in the mix so that should give us a fair share of earth moments to play with.

It would be nice to see at some point a coffee reunion on Earth with Thor and Jane in which Thor politely asks for a cup of coffee in stark contrast with the first Thor movie and the memorable scene "This drink i like it. Another!". That alone would signal to Jane, change and evolution of Thor... Not the brash and entitled prince anymore.

Knowing Ragnarok and Taika's work i'm sure we'll have a ton of nods to Thor and Jane's relationship in the first and second movie.

Looking back at Thor's trilogy as a whole, I really wish that Marvel could have kept Kenneth on as the Director for the last two films. I felt like he had a better understanding and treatment for Thor's character and universe than our other directors.

Thor 1 is a decently good movie and in regard to Thor’s character it’s the closest thing to the more traditional version of the character from the comics. I would definitely be interested to know how things would have played out with a Kenneth Branagh trilogy.

Having said that and with the benefit of hindsight, I’m pretty happy with how things turned out, specially taking into account Ragnarok and Infinity War which are 2 of my absolute favorite MCU movies.

Are you still heartbroken over The Big Thorbowski?

He sure better not be pushed aside over Jane Thor's spotlight. I worry about the ending!

I wouldn’t really accept Thor being pushed aside to make way for Jane Foster Thor. That would alienate a ton of people.

I’m hoping for a story in which Jane is featured significantly alongside Thor but as Taika said, it’s still Thor’s movie... I don’t want him to be overshadowed and above all replaced.

Meh, that's an separate issue for me.

My original point was that I wish we could have gotten an "Thor Trilogy" that had been directed by Kenneth Branagh from start to finish.

Frankly, I hope that Thor becomes the King of Asgard before the true conclusion of his role in the MCU.

I was thinking about the stakes for TLT because Thor is constantly developing as a character and the changes in his physical appearance from the more cosmetic ones to the more “permanent” have become a staple of his evolution.

The next logical step would be for Thor to lose his arm as several iteration of his comic book counterpart. The uru arm is a big part of Thor mythology and it could add those extra stakes that people love to have in more comedic movies because it also lifts the material and the overall standard of the film.

Thor could get his traditional uru arm from either New Asgard or Nidavellir, or even better one made of the remains of the Destroyer(comic book accurate) from the first movie or a version similar to the one from the Winter Soldier(Like Rocket mentioned)... Maybe Rocket did indeed succeed in getting it like he mentioned in Infinity War and he could tweak/update the prosthetic vibranium arm to fit more Thor’s overall look. I mean imagine if he added those badass spikes which would expand outwards whenever Thor was in battle. That would be so cool.

Hemsworth's shape gradually moving closer to that usual Thor look.
