I’m feeling Colin Salmon for Professor X… dude is so underrated, this role would be perfect for him.

He'd be good as well. He's certainly got the gravitas , authority and presence, in addition to having the regal and dapper quality to be Charles Xavier.

As far as an early 1980s era X Men castings go, aside from a few roles, I tend to go all over the place with Scott, Jean, Iceman, Beast, and several other characters. I don't have a set idea of actors who could play them.

But aside from them, for an 80s , MTV era X Men film, I'd have

MCU X-Men should be early 20’s at the oldest with x, mags and Wolvie all being at least twice their age. Antony Starr is who Marvel needs to cast as Wolverine.
