Damon Lindelof Developing The Leftovers at HBO

I watched an interview with Lindelof and he confirmed...

David Burton is a supernatural character, but is most definitely not God.
If anyone was wondering about that.

It was clear to me with the symbolism of the lion killing him that he wasn't God. Him being God wasn't really the point there anyway. The point was that Matt believed that he was, if only for a moment.

Still having a good laugh over Kevin snatching the glasses off Patti's face in the second to last episode.

If Carrie Coon and Justin Theroux don't get Emmy noms, I swear to God...

They should've got noms for season 2.

Carrie Coon was nominated for Fargo instead...

Convinced that The Leftovers is as invisible to those who nominate shows as Carrie Coon's character in Fargo was to electronics.

Although Ann Dowd did get nominated. Odd, given that she wasn't in this season that much, but it's something, I suppose.

Rewatching this right now on HBO Now. Currently on season 2. I wanted to rewatch this before Watchmen and I haven’t watched the show since it ended so with Watchmen premiering in the fall I thought this was a good time.

I binged this show not too long ago, and holy crap what a show this was. So good and I was surprised by how brutal it got it at times. Too bad it didn't get anymore seasons though.

Three seasons was enough but the greedy fan in me wanted more.
