President Donald Trump twice gave James Comey an alibi for why a salacious report about the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow couldn’t be true: He never even spent the night in Russia during that trip, Trump told the former FBI director, according to Comey’s memos about the conversations.

Yet the broad timeline of Trump’s stay, stretching from Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, through the following Sunday morning, has been widely reported. And it’s substantiated by social media posts that show he slept in Moscow the night before the Miss Universe contest.

Now, flight records obtained by Bloomberg provide fresh details. Combined with existing accounts and Trump’s own social-media posts, they capture two days that, nearly five years later, loom large in the controversy engulfing the White House and at the heart of the Comey memos, which the Justice Department turned over last week to Congress.

He totally said it was Ronny Jackson's decision on whether or not he wants to continue with the nomination process, like it wasn't Trump's call at all. It is an amazing combination of cowardice and being unable to admit fault.

If this stuff is legit, then he will not be confirmed. He already had an uphill battle with his lack of experience. If it actually becomes credible that the little experience he has isn't any good, then he'll have to leave.

However, he's not moving towards the exit. It's possible that this stuff is bad reporting, and he'll clear the whole thing up. If that's the case, then yeah he'll be confirmed reluctantly.

I can't wait to see the AZ election results tonight. I hope Steve Kornacki totally geeks out again. He had me ROLLING last time. I was sitting on the couch seeing if I could crunch through the numbers and needed percentages of the remaining voters faster than his spreadsheets (or whatever he uses). It's actually not that hard to do this stuff in your head if you look at it the right way and use a few algorithms.

That pee tape is starting to look more credible with each reveal. I don't want to see it should it be revealed, but it would throw the Oval Office into a frenzy. I would love to see that cow Sarah Sanders try to defend it at a press conference.

And again, this is one of those situations where Trump shoots himself in the foot. Presenting an incorrect alibi like this becomes another data point towards acknowledgment of guilt. He'd shut up if he knew what was good for him.
