Idk to me, GTA Online never appealed to me. Like I don't even play free online / free multiplayer games, and when I realized that I would need to pay again and again in order play GTA online and to acquire new stuff. I just never bothered.

Its just weird, that Rockstar only released 1 entirely new game after GTA V especially they used to release a new game annually before 2013.

You don't need to pay to play gta online, unless you mean ps plus and xbox live.

You can pay to acquire content or just grind a bit. I rarely ever purchase a shark card.

I don't get the hesitation to play with other players. Just mute everyone and it'll be a fine experience

I mostly do job missions and am usually in my deluxo(back to the future inspired)with weapons and so not many people bother me.

I drive from the casino(I spawn at the penthouse)to Simeon's shop to do his missions for a while then drive back to the casino before leaving the game.

My motorcycle is my 2nd main vehicle and when I drive around, sometimes I get griefers but also people minding their own business, playing with a group of friends or just doing objectives. I only go after other players if they have a bounty set on them or I have to defend/kill NPC targets from themi in an optional objective mission

I clicked GTA online once and it led me toPs plus (iirc) and then I saw all the dollars sign in the screen and I was just like "nope".

yeah I have never spent any real money in game for GTA online they have promos where they give away free $$$ for anniversaries or for doing tasks like recently if you did 10 of the daily objectives (like stealing 10 cars, or simple as going to the casino to spin the wheel etc) you got 1 million dollars added to your account. but other than buying the game and paying for Plus/Live I have never paid for anything else. I have a lot of fun after a long day at work to just hop into it and play with some of my fellow online friends.

I too love my Deluxo I only regret painting it and cannot make it back to the stainless steel default color unless I do some 2 player rally race thing so I just made it as close as I could to it. it is much more fun since I got a mobile operation center and added the weapons to it (got it when they were on sale) and already had the bunker as my game came the criminal enterprise starter pack that came with a new 10 car garage, the bunker, the office space, and 1 mill and some free cars. I recently set up the office and am doing more CEO stuff slowly but surely lol

Then black but I started missing the default look after a while and also needed to win races to unlock the default color. I won a free deluxo at the casino, so I sold the one I originally bought and kept the new one because of the default look!

I haven't tried any of the cheat codes as I feel like it would punish me later on like it did in Gta Sa. Are they fine to use?

well they are for only the story mode and it disables the trophy/achievements

the 90s looking stock car is on sale I had the $$$ thought I would pick it up had fun doing a bunch of races in the Hotring series with fellow players made 100K in prize money also the alien laser rifles are on sale god those are fun LOL

guys if you wanna get in on the alien suit melee war Rockstar is letting you buy both the green and or purple light up alien suits (normally 350K! each) for free I already had a green suit but got the purple one for free.. I love teaming up with other similar color suit dudes and taking out the opposite color suit dudes LOL.

Man, Epic must have given Rockstar a ****load of money. Valve should answer back and offer RDR2 on Steam for free!

I really hope the only ones who buy it are people who don't already own the game. The only reason I even own GTA V for PS4 after already having it for Xbox 360 was because it came in a bundle with the system along with The Last of Us.

So Rockstar can do yet another GTA5 remaster, but not GTA6 or even remasters of Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories? Remasters of the latter two games were rumored to be coming a few years ago along with others such as a remaster of Max Payne 2.

I was like Wth is gta 5 doing in a ps5 reveal announcement. I'd take anything from Rockstar especially the older GTA games, not just GTA V which is accessible in Ps4.

Couldn't they at least remaster GTAIV instead? I'm not even all that fond of IV, but literally anything else would be more exciting than GTAV again.

It's not super exciting or anything but not all bad either considering it'll at least be a free upgrade for current owners. GTA 6 is confirmed to be in development and so that should be arriving in a couple of years.

Porting GTA IV and the ps2 games to PS4 wouldbe a good idea. I feel like most of the younger generation of casual gamers of today have played GTA V but not the older GTA games. Its easy money for Rockstar as its GTA, and its something to chew on while we wait another five years for GTA VI to come out. Mafia/Saint Rows were just remastered and rereleased this year. GTA IV should get the same treatment imo.

Rockstar is probably doing it because they're still making a lot of money selling shark cards for the online part of the game. They don't want to just give that up...

But I think it's ridiculous to bring this old game from the PS3/Xbox 360 era to the PS5. (And then act like it's a big deal)
