Deadpool & Wolverine Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine!!!!

The 1960s X-Men never age. Beast can turn into human form at will.

FOX mutants age slower and better than humans. They only age as normal humans (faster and worse) when they are experimented upon (Magneto in the original timeline, who was captured in 1967 and imprisoned until 1978/1979).

Moira is apparently "human", but in 1983 both Xavier and Havok are surprised to see that she hasn't aged that much. It's a strong hint that Moira is a mutant (Hickman took notice as well).

Beast uses a more specific serum.

I call that bad writing and bad storytelling.

No, man. Use your brain. Fill the gaps. It's funny.

The stories are perfect and poignant. Some minor details can be explained by our imagination.

Comic books are full of holes too.

Not at all.

Damn you Ryan Reynolds. You've brought back the nightmarish void that is X-Men continuity posts.

You're lucky. Ryan could have brought back the nightmarish void of the Green Lantern posts.

The X-Men continuity posts are extremely meaningful and fun. Enjoy.

Agreed. There was no mention of extra longevity with mutants in the comics. :)

Kinberg mentioned/hinted this on an interview. Anyway, what you get on-screen is canon, so you can see by yourself that they age slower and better. It happens right in front of your eyes.

Mutants gifted with regenerative powers age EVEN MORE slower and better than the other mutants. As simple as that.

I respectfully disagree. Kinberg may have said it in an interview but it wasn't outright stated in the movies or the comics so it's NOT a fact. Nor is what you see onscreen canon as we have two different origin stories for Deadpool and the Joker, really. You can have your own opinion, but that doesn't make it an actual fact.

In the comics, we got the absurd and surreal "Floating Timeline" theory. Which doesn't make any sense, if you ask me.

The movies: what you get on-screen is the truth for that specific fictional universe. Beyond the opinions of creators, writers, directors and producers.
They almost don't age, or they age VERY slowly. So that's the canonical truth: the one which your eyes register and your deduction rationalizes.
There's even a hint that Moira could be a mutant, because ON-SCREEN Xavier and Alex utterly claim that she still looks "young", and that it's impressive.

Okay but where are the other foX-Men characters that aren't the Wolverine, the Professor, Magneto and Deadpool? And please don't invite Mystique back.

Sir Patrick Stewart is already in the MCU, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he returns in another universe in another mcu film.

I guess that the DP3 Wolverine could be masked.

It's neither the Wolverine from the main X-Men movie continuity, nor the Wolverine from the "Logan 2017" universe. That's pretty obvious, they are walking the same Dr. Strange 2 path.

Mind you, Hugh Jackman has aged. He's not young anymore, and it shows. Since (cinematic) Wolverine is supposed to be always in his 38-40 years old range, I think that they will make Hugh don the iconic mask and the costume, this time.

So far, we got four cinematic Wolverines:

1- The main X-Men movie continuity (the seven X-Men movies + X-Men Origins + The Wolverine).
2- The Logan 2017 alternate universe.
3- The Deadpool movies universe. See the upcoming Deadpool 3.
4- The alternate universe that Deadpool visited at the end of Deadpool 2, modeled after X-Men Origins.
