Is this strange that I feel very easy to remove my favorable bias for the movie from Disney decision? (i.e. the fact that I really like the 2 movies doesn't make me take a stand for or against his firing at all). But the fact that he and I generally agree politically (and alt-rights are pushing for this) makes me feel the firing was a bit harsh.

You do realize this franchise was inevitably going to go on without him at some point regardless of him being forced out.
