Patrick Wilson is Orm

Saw a toy that just said "Orm", seems they aren't going to actually call him Ocean Master. It's a shame, though I can understand them thinking it was a bit silly sounding.

For a comic book movie villain who wants to rule the oceans, Ocean Master sounds fine.
From an English background, the name Orm sounds weird imo haha

Maybe the movie will use the name Ocean Master as more of a title or rank of someone that controls all of Atlantis' armies when king (I.E. "Orm Marius, son of Orvax Marius and Atlanna, King of Atlantis, the Ocean Master, Protector of the Deep, etc etc etc"). If he does go by Orm only, then I could seem them dropping Ocean Master in some cheeky way to give a nod to comic readers. Or maybe he adopts the name and wears the helmet and armor full-time after losing to Arthur.

I like the idea of it being a title, like master at arms or commander in chief.

Not really a spoiler but just in case:
I think you'll like how it was used in the film.

This biatch has the best looking outfit in the movie. I just LOVE his final , Ocean Master armor and helmet.

I don't understand how Orm could have been born after Arthur especially if Atlanna was with Tom all that time and then she just leaves Arthur and Tom...to go have another kid with another man unless when she was with Tom she was already pregnant with Orm cheating on Tom with Orm's father...then that would explain a lot especially because there wouldn't be that much of an age difference between Orm and Arthur

No, she ran from the arranged marriage. she was with Tom and Arthur until he was like - 2 yo tops. So then she goes back to her arranged marriage husband and probably has Orm in the next year or two. So I doubt there is a bigger age difference then 2 - 3 years, and no cheating involved.

Correct. This is basically how it works.

I loved Orm in this film, good villain, Patrick looked great and he had a great costume.

Yes, solid villain, and backed up by another good villain in Black Manta. Patrick Wilson did a good job.

Really enjoyed Patrick in the role always been a fan and thought he was great as Ocean Master.

MOFO looks so cool. Is there a more beautiful combo then silver/chrome and dark blue /purple, and the flowing cape,...

Watched the movie for the first time this afternoon. I've been a fan of Patrick Wilson for years, and I thought his performance was great. However, I now see what people were saying about the character being shallow. They really fast forward the whole environmental point, which was odd since Patrick Wilson has been talking about it since San Diego Comic Con this year. He's also working with environmental foundations, which you can see on his Twitter page. I will say that I like how they ended the movie with Orm since it's different to most movies we've seen lately.

Patrick Wilson was fantastic. The costume was great. And his theme music was awesome. What a great job on the villain. I hope they keep him around.

The movie was probably too long to stretch the ending out any further. But I think in a sequel they could have Aquaman bringing Atlantis out into the public to let the world know there are more than just fish living in the Ocean.

Orm reminds me so much of Loki in the sense that he is just so jealous of his brother Arthur especially when I watched the film yesterday

I really liked his performance, particularly in his last scene. Him smiling at
Vulko and his reaction to Atlanna really hinted at a lot of hope for Orm to redeem himself

It would be cool if in the sequel, Orm is slowly turning to the good side after his "talk" with Arthur over time. He tries to see and understand the surface world from Arthur's experience, and somewhere in the 2nd act, he reverts back to Ocean Master. Maybe the sequel can be about Arthur learning to be a king, which he isn't good at in the beginning. Because of the civilian unrest, many start supporting Orm again. And maybe they can use elements of the latest comics arc with the Atlantean civil war. Although, this movie did already have some of that.

I think Orm is my favorite CBM live action villain now. That cape porn with the cowl is just :hmr:
