I'm not leaving out actors on purpose or anything ... I just don't feel like listing ones that other people have already mentioned. Let's just say that I agree with most of them.
Actors and roles that haven't been mentioned:
- Julie Andrews
(Mary Poppins)
- Rex Harrison (Professor Higgins in
My Fair Lady)
- John Wayne (In EVERY movie he's been in, basically)
- James Stewart (Jefferson Smith in
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington; George Bailey in
It's a Wonderful Life)
- George C. Scott (
Patton)
- Samuel L. Jackson (Jules Winnfield in
Pulp Fiction)
- John Tavolta (Vincent Vega in
Pulp Fiction)
- Darren McGavin (The Old Man/Mr. Parker in
A Christmas Story ... One of the FUNNIEST performances ever, IMO.)
I'm also surprised that people haven't really mentioned TV shows that much ... Maybe because it could be too obvious? When I think of TV characters such as Lucy, Fonzie, Fraiser, and Archie Bunker, I can't help but think the actors for those characters were MADE for those roles.
