Specifically, Presidential politics is what's on my mind. Just off the top of my head, we have a President something-or-other spinning out of Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters, we have ex-President Luthor, and an ex-President Horne, although I can't for the life of me figure out where he fits in. Does anyone have any idea how Presidential politics have gone in the DCU since COIE?

Horne became President after Pete Ross stepped down from the Presidency.

And then Horne is followed up by this dude in Uncle Sam?

You can do a round-about list from who has been mentioned in comics.

I can't remember who Luthor took the Presidency from, don't know if it was "unnamed looks like Clinton" or he was running against "unnamed looks like Clinton" and he took it from Bush or they just had made-up ones (I'd actually kind of like to know if anyone has the issues in hand). But

Lex Luthor
Pete Ross
Jonathan Vincent Horne
Henry Knight (Technically died before taking office so...)
Gonzo the Mechanical Bastard

Now it's Henry Knight's Vice-President who was not named in Uncle Sam. But will probably be named in the Amazons Attack mini.

Before Luthor I know JFK and LBJ have been mentioned, as has Richard Nixon. And Prez Rickard took the Presidency off Nixon. I also know Reagan is the President in early JLI.

Prez, now there was a f**king president.

Prez was just about the best damn thing ever to happen to America!

Even better than porn on the Internet.

Hopefully after Winick stops writing him, so the story'll actually be good.

Yeah.. i can see alot ot problems with ollie running for president.. and if they make him loose.. then theil just copy the story when he ran for mayor in the 70's ..
(he lost back then because the other guy cheated..)

They should have him lose because he's a womanizing incompetent. That'd be novel.

We have an incompetent president this term, and we had a womanizer last term. Ollie is merely an unholy union of the two.

ICEBURN!

So we know we had JFK, LBJ, Nixon, and then Prez. Followed by someone in the interim, we then had Reagan. I was just re-reading my GL: The Road Back trade, and they mention Bush I, so we know we got him. I think for the sake of a timeline, it might be a good idea to say Lex took the Presidency from Bush I. Otherwise, we might have to accept that Presidents in the DCU have two-year terms, comic book time. So...

JFK
LBJ
Nixon/Ford
Prez
Reagan
Bush I
Luthor/Ross/Horne
Knight/Gonzo
The New Guy

No, that was in an alternate reality

I thought the Vertigo series which had the kid searching round the DCU for the Prez who he believed to be his father put Prez's presidency into continuity.

If it didn't, it damn well should.
