That's a bad prediction. JL is critical proof.
Currently now looking at $94M weekend.

Looking at Justice League's numbers come in:Currently now looking at $94M weekend.

Wow. So JL isn't critic proof after all.
I don't believe it. There is a very real possibility of SMH being the biggest superhero movie of year. Didn't see that coming after ASM 2.
You don't think Thor: Ragnarok can catch/beat it?
I see the numbers, if it has great legs going into 2018, I think it'll be close.
Justice League isn't going to beat Homecoming.
Ragnarok beating Homecoming is very unlikely as well. Homecoming should be the highest grossing superhero movie of 2017.
Yes, Homecoming is nearly $4.5M ahead of Ragnarok after the 3rd weekend, and that's after Ragnarok opened $5.7M higher than Homecoming did. So Ragnarok has already lost over $10M on Homecoming since opening weekend, even with Ragnarok being helped a bit by a small holiday(Veteran's Day) while Homecoming was not. They're only 4 million apart with the same time frame.
You're probably right.

It's clear which one of the two has more momentum at the domestic box office at the same point. Homecoming's 3rd weekend number is even slightly ahead of Ragnarok's 3rd domestic weekend, and Homecoming was still going in July, with very strong weekday numbers in comparison. Domestically, I really can't see Ragnarok finishing ahead of Homecoming. OS, it may have an outside shot, but that's unlikely as well. Worldwide even more so.
Aloha,
The outstanding part of Homecoming is its LEGS! I was reading a review that talked about movie studios wanting to see their profits within the first week or two of the movie. Homecomings second week was scary. But then it kept going and going and going.I want Thor to do well, I just don't see Ragnorak beating 880 million.700 million definitely.
Spidey rules
It is already past 700 million.
JL is out the window but I do think Thor will catch up to spidey at the end of its run. Which is still a win for the MCU.
Thor won't catch it domestically or worldwide. So thor is about 90 million behind this for WW do you guys think it will catch this? Also about 57 million behind USA wise.
Deadline did the math for BvS, they they say the studio's share for Home Entertainment(worldwide) was $152.8M:How much money would you all reckon Batman v Superman made from home entertainment releases?
