Eh. The JOE/TF crossover formula barely makes for a readable comic as it is, and between Marvel, Dreamwave and Devil's Due there've been plenty of attempts (not counting the post-TF:TM G1 cartoon where Cobra Commander and a hologram of an old Flint made guest appearances). However, having said that, since IDW is taking on the JOE comic license, they could probably do a "Reign Of Starscream"-type 'movie-verse' crossover as a comic.
