We'll be getting an animated DVD adaptation of "Death of Superman" soon along with animated DVD adaptations of "Teen Titans: Judas Contract" and "New Frontier" so out of curiosity, what other DC comic book storylines would you like to see done in directo to DVD animated format?

I wouldn't mind seeing an animated adaptation of "Kingdom Come" or an animated adaptation of "Crisis On Infinite Earths" or "Emerald Twilight/Final Night/Rebirth". Hell, I'd even like to see an animated adaptation just soley focused on Wonder Woman and/or Captain Marvel, or an adaptation of "Superman/SHAZAM First Thunder" for that matter.

Any more suggestions or takes on this?

Kingdom Come is a must.

Arkham Asylum would be awesome - but it would never happen.

yeah definitely want that Kingdom Come

there's a JLA comic called "JLA: A League of One" by Chritopher Moeler. its got two of my favorite things: JLA and Dragons. definitely something a theme that is accessible to both kids and adults alike.

Arkham Asylum, Kingdom Come, and DKR, most definately.

The Long Halloween

and jesus, I didn't even think of Kingdom Come before but that would be amazing.

Good to see the Kingdom Come love, but what if they followed it up with adapting "The Kingdom"? Would that be a bad move on their part?

What about a full blown animated adaptation of "Knightfall/Knightquest/KnightEnd", in which Batman had his back broken by Bane, then Bane got broken by Azrael, followed by Batman fighting Azrael to get the title back? Would anyone want to see that adapted?

Knightfall (To Pimp Batman in Summer 2008)

Kingdom Come (with Ross inspired art)

Crisis On Infinite Earths (it CAN be done)

Dark Knight Returns

GL: Emerald Dawn/ Twillight

Zero Hour/ Final Night (with Parallax)

Green Lantern Rebirth

Superman: Red Son

Pretty much an ideal list but i have to say kingdom come is my all time fav. on there and I would have to add HUSH of course! Seeing all those villians animated again would be a treat.

Definitely Kingdom Come. And if they can do Death of Superman, then a Knightfall movie makes sense.

JLA: New World Order, something with Winick's Outsiders, Batman Year One and Long Halloween would be good for juicing everyone up for the next Batman movie.

I want...
Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow (A great end story, without actually killing Superman)
Superman For All Seasons
Batman: Hush (Or maybe just all of Jeph Loeb's stories)
Crisis on Infinite Earths
and also a good Joker story, but I think The Killing Joke would be too hardcore.

Knightfall, Kingdom Come and The Lonh Halloween.

Agreed on Hush. It'd be cool to see some kind a JSA story too; like a classic ww2 origins

Batman: Year One
Batman: The Long Halloween

Infinity, Inc (1980's version)

I think it is brilliant DC is making animated dvd movies now. I am so happy about the up coming Death of Superman, I love that saga, I hope it's not too watered down or too cut up since it's all in one movie. I think they should've done it as a trilogy, but I'm going to stay positive about it.

Others I'd like to see would be, Knightfall, a Green Lanetrn and Flash movie, both being their origins.

I really can't wait to see New Frontier brought to animated life! I hope it doesn't lose any of its charm.

I'm just afraid the dvds will be the only DC movies WB will make, it seems they only make Superman and Batman live action movies. They've taken a cue from Marvel making the DVD films, now if only they'd do that with the live action movies.

WB is sitting on some box office gold and they don't seem to get it. Well, as long as their done right. Green Lantern is the next logical step in live action DC movies, it could be like Starwars in a sense, but better. It could be so epic, if they'd just realise that.

WB has a done a great job with Harry Potter, now they should do something with what they've owned for so long.

I love Superman and Batman but I wanna' see more from DC comics. The Flash could be cool too, the tv series wasn't bad. Then how about Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and Captain Marvel.

WW too. The main one I want to see is Green Lantern though.
