BvS Gal Gadot IS Wonder Woman!

As thin as what?

Or do you mean "wasn't?" :oldrazz:

I'm just saying, I have Gal's body type. I used to be that thin - tiny arms, thighs didn't touch, the whole bit. (To be fair, my skinniest was when I was recovering from stomach flu and couldn't eat much. My arms have always been skinny.)

My body CHANGED after I started lifting. My only rationale is that women's bodies are really weird, and for someone my size, even a little change makes a big difference.

I have a nice layer of fat on my stomach where there was nothing but hipbone and concavity there before. My legs are bigger for sure, and it's not all muscle either. I have hips now. I'm not sure how much is muscle or how much is fat, but hips are hips and my husband isn't complaining. :oldrazz:

There will be certain things that won't be magically fixed with weightlifting. If you have small wrists you're stuck with them. My arms are still sticks, although they are a bit denser and my friends can tell my shoulders are a little bigger now. My back is also denser.

Most importantly, I feel that I walk differently. She will move differently after she's been working out. I think that will sell her more than just having muscles - how she moves. You do what you can with the mass and then let the movement do the rest of the selling.

But do you look like you could take on an army? ;)

Would you guys tolerate this look on the big screen?:

This WW has curves.

I kinda hate saying this, but she was just eye candy for me in that movie.

Well that was essentially her only role there.

Again she wasn't terrible, that type of acting usually strikes you but she was almost a non entity on the acting front. I assumed F5 was her first acting gig and the director just picked her out of a fashion catalogue or something?

DAT fast and furious money.

I have nothing against Gal but if anybody for one second really believes gal's "amazing acting" and not her F&F connection got her the role? She may surprise us but i've only seen her in the f&f films and in a crowd of bland mediocre actors she never stood out.

Let me stop you right there. :o

Show me a picture of Gadot as Wonder Woman to compare and I will. Oh wait, there isn't one yet. Because she still needs to prepare for the role. Wow. 'Scuse me for not joining you in your baseless snap judgment.

I'm clearly making an argument against those claiming that she does not need to prepare for the role through enhancing her physicality in any way. Guess that wasn't quite clear enough though. I'll have to spell it out with refrigerator magnets next time. :whatever:

But do you look like you could take on an army? ;)
Anyone taking on an ACTUAL army wearing the WW costume would look pretty ridiculous. :oldrazz:

Not to mention, even a single person, man or woman, taking on an actual army without the required firepower would look pretty ridiculous too. :cwink:

Personally, I think she has a great body as it is. I would be fine just the way she is right now.

I agree. I think Cavil needs to loose some muscle mass too. His superman is too bulky. This would be nice. lol

And Affleck needs to look like this! :woot:

She was in Fast 4 I believe. But still, I think anyone who says her acting 'stood out' or was the best of the group is lying to themselves. She was there to be the hot chick.

I don't think anyone here is arguing that they should just slap a costume on Gadot right now and call it a day.

Everybody and anybody in their right mind knows she is going to be training for this film.

Dude, I love magnets! :awesome:

Please only comment in the future by posting pictures of your refrigerator. Thanks!

Screw it, might as well complete the set.

Something about this cover is just all sorts of ****ed up.

The Flash dying in a hole in the ground, alone, unceremoniously, only to be stumbled upon with mild indifference by two kids. Yeesh :csad:.

This joke's time of death was about five minutes ago, guys. Call it. :o

Let me stop you right there. :o

I just call it like I see it what can i say?

This was a business move pure and simple over one based on actual talent, I don't think that's even debatable? Gal brings with (or at least the producers hope so) some of that F&F money making shine.

I'm not saying she'll be terrible but I know what attracted them to her and it wasn't her acting.

Wonder Woman in a Superman vs. Batman movie... I sure hope this doesn't turn into a cluster****.

That's flawed logic is flawed to me because she didn't headline those films. I doubt WB would be that silly

Isn't Wonder Woman supposed to have a rack?

Bye!

You presume she isn't? :oldrazz:
I only wish it were so. :csad:

Um, I'm pretty sure casual fans of F&F have no clue who she is.

Was that not clear? You posit that Superman must be ripped in the movies because he has "always" been drawn that way (he hasn't), while WW doesn't need to appear "strong" or capable because she has god-like powers (and superman doesn't?).

Just a bit of double standard BS flying around as usual.
As yes the old straw man.

Looking at my post I clearly said superman "hasn't been drawn anything other than well built"(obviously I'm talking about a functional superman and not some diseased elseworlds thing as seen in flashpoint for example). Who said two words about 'always Ripped'?

Secondly that's not all I said.

Lastly I said wonder woman is a woman of great beauty that has been molded from clay. And has magical powers gifted by the gods.
To answer your question Superman doesn't have that, no. To be specific, superman's powers have traditionally been something similar(no- proportional to his physique), but with one huge difference, his matabolism is sustained by solar energy and advanced efficiency. Dense muscles...etc...see birthright.

Wonder woman is a creature of magic. Next you will be suggesting Dr. Strange needs huge biceps before he lifts a car over his head. Very Different.

Double standard bs is all in your mind. Or rather your strawman.
