I guess you won't mind then if, in the Netflix series, Daredevil goes back to his Rex Smith all-black costume a la The Trial of the Incredible Hulk.
I'm in a similar place with regard to Ward.In all honesty, I don't really care to see Ward all that much next season, nor do I want him explored much further. I'd be fine with him being locked away to only be seen from every once in a blue moon, or never.

Nice, but it reminds me of Bishop (X-Men)
I'm in a similar place with regard to Ward.
I went from "he's ok, I guess" pre-CA:TWS to "I'm ****ing loving evil Ward" after Turn, Turn, Turn to "is that all there is to him?" after the reasons for his villainous behavior and betrayal were revealed. At this point, there just isn't too much there.
Then again, I wouldn't be upset or anything if they gave him a compelling arc in season 2, but I'm just struggling to think of what that might be.
That would be a great twist, I'd so be onboard with that. I think it would be cool if we don't actually see him till the reveal at the end of the season but during the whole season somebody is always helping the team out that only we, the audience sees. And with every mission the team grows more suspicious that someone is helping them from the shadows and they assume it's Mikelok but it's really Ward.
Could be cool
I only just realised that it was the military that made the clean up of the compound, and therefore took away the prisoners. I was pretty bewildered as to where the team was planning on keeping Ward before. As it is, ending up in Talbot's hands does not bode well for Ward, as he will certainly will not be sent free to protect the team from the shadows. I can actually see the military metaforically collaring him to become his 2rd iteration of toxic commanders and forcing him to go on missions against SHIELD (as in maybe they have the same ultimate goal in season 2). Cue lots of angst and drama peppered with character growth for Ward as he learns how to stop being a human weapon and become just human, thus opening an eventual door for him to ditch Talbot and return to Coulson's team for season 3.
It'll be interesting to see which Marvel Comics characters show up in season two. I'd actually like to see someone take up the Ronin moniker. There are also some characters I see who were Avengers in the comics that could easily appear in Season Two without having to join the Avengers lineup in the MCU (although they may need to change their stories a bit).
What if Ward took on the Ronin identity? Secretly being released by Talbot or somebody to do stealth ops missions in order to get time off his sentence, Thunderbolts style?
