Hard to say for certain. Hope it isn't just a marketing gimmick.

All we know is they said next week is pre-AoU, so I would think no spoilers. There's actually two weeks before AoU, which makes me think they're being deliberately vague, which isn't a sign for hope, imo.

But we'll see.

I thought they said it was 7 years ago, which would be 2008, same year Iron Man came out.

Story wise the episode was great. But man, after Daredevil they really need to up the ante on the fight choreography. They've had their moments, but Melinda's Cavalry story wasn't one of them. Emotionally it was good, the idea behind it was well executed, but the fights could've used more horsepower.
