''You have a wildness in you, child.'' - the Arya thread

is warging a common thing in Westeros?

i dont think she knows that she was being followed or watched

here's what i thought watching the most recent ep
arya went to bed with needle, and turned off all the lights. if the girl comes to kill her in the dark, arya has the advantage as she had learned to fight while blind. unless of course, the other girl was trained this way and i'm wrong haha

also want to comment that i was partially correct haha

So...I saw Arya kill a dude by stabbing his eyes out first...it was killer. And then her eyes...went crazy...white.

Yeah she killed Meryn Trant. He was on her list but not the person the Many Faced God told her to kill.

Oh I see. I did recognize him...was he part of the red wedding slaughter?

Oh...wow. it's been ages since I saw season 1...one day when I can afford all the seasons I'm gonna binge watch GoT. Lol.

Aww I remember that scene very much. Love the wolf. I have a soft spot for wolves.:hrt:

No, he was a Kingsguard and he killed her fencing teacher Syrio Forel back in Season 1 so he was added to her list for that.

Allegedly killed.

I don't think he did and that's why she was punished.

There seems to be some rules applied to killing in the show. Some are justified and some aren't. Those that aren't exact a price. It could be why Ned lost his head. He killed the Nights' Watch guy who ran from the White Walkers and tried to warn them.

Okay, but it's not "alleged" within the show reality -that is, no characters express doubt about his demise, just as there is none concerning Stannis nor the Blackfish which also happened off-screen.

So until there is some substantial evidence presented which is clearly designed to lead the viewer into doubt, the death scream Arya heard as she ran from the room coupled with Trant's survival after that confrontation stands as confirmation that he killed Syrio.

Woulda been some hardline trolling if they threw in the scene from S1 where Syrio says, "and what do we say to the God of Death?" in the Previously segment for last Sunday's episode...since Arya effectively told the God of Death, "No."

Do you think Jaqen is done with Arya? I had a hard time reading him.

The showrunners confirmed Syrio is dead and not coming back. Maise made a comment to the press that she hoped Syrio would one day return to the show, and the showrunners later released a statement confirming he was dead.

I want a Syrio Arya miniseries about those two cleansing Westeros of all the Freys.

The Hound questioned it when Arya told him about it. If you notice Syrio could have easily picked up a real sword from one of those guards he disabled but instead kept on using his wooden one.

Also that "scream of death" was actually a lot of different screams from different people.

He's dead. Just like stannis is dead. An offscreen death doesnt matter in these cases. The person is dead all the same. Some directors just dont want to show certain characters being gutted or brutally killed. Thats the reason Blackfish was killed offscreen. The director didnt want the last time we see Blackfish to be him getting cut down by a bunch of Freys. The reason they didnt show Syrio's death is because in that scene Arya was the important thing and not Syrio and because they didnt want to show a bunch of 6' *****ebags in armor chopping up a 4' man with a wooden sword. Its the same reason we didnt see the Hound kill Arya's friend. Some deaths just dont need to be seen. They didnt do these offscreen deaths so that the audience would think the character survived.
