And yeah, I'd never trade Rockwell for a comic-accurate Hammer. He was the best part of IM2, hands down. They really need to bring him back.

I just watched this movie called Mojave. I liked it a lot, even though it got bad reviews. Anyway, my one big takeaway from it is that I REALLY want to see Garrett Hedlund play Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. I've always thought he'd be good in the role, but seeing him in that movie convinced me that he'd be perfect. I'm not sure if Marvel has any long-term plans for the character outside of the other version appearing on Agents of SHIELD, however, maybe they are doing that to test the waters and see if there is still interest in GR after those awful Nicolas Cage movies ran him straight into the ground. I think the best thing to do would be to have Dr. Strange lead into a Midnight Sons film with Blaze/GR, Blade and Morbius. I don't know if it will happen, but it could be amazing if they go that route.

It's interesting you mention Hedlund in the same post as Cage because Hedlund's interpretation of Hook in Pan reminded me of Nicolas Cage trying to out-Nicolas Cage himself.

Also, Mojave was pretty darn good.

LOL, yeah. He was truly awful in Pan, there's no doubt. I wrote a review of that film a while back and really laid into him for that performance. It WAS like watching Nicholas Cage try to play Captain Hook.

However, I feel like Hedlund was either out of his element in that film or just being directed to act like a total jackass 100% of the time. He's at his best, IMO, when he plays angsty loner types, which is why I thought he was fantastic in Mojave. Plus, the dude just has a PERFECT look for Blaze.

Yeah, I know IM2 gets a lot of hate, but I LOVED Rockwell's Justin Hammer. Great villain, even if he wasn't the main one.

I'm a DC guy but can't find a good role for Dexter's Mivhael C . Hall. This dude can probably never play a romantic part again due to Dexter. He reminds me of Mark Hamill who may have enjoyed success but the part maybe really damaging his future career. Are there any Marvel characters that Michael C. Hall fits into?
