Seeing the classic Slave-1 again was very special. But man...the Razorcrest is just bits and parts now . I had really liked that ship.

Also Boba Fett needs to repaint his ugly ass chipped armor, and get a more color-coordinated jumpsuit.

To the detriment of the Razor Crest, I love that we finally got a “middle” shot from outer atmosphere into a planet in live action. I love when they did that stuff on Rebels...

Too much good things in one short episode.

My personal self slap in the face: I don't like the Boba Fett backstory from the ST, clone stuff etc but they made a good old Boba Fett I must admit, a bit verbal and a far less cold bast** compared to the OT but that's character aging and gaining experience.

As a Dark Forces fan, words cannot describe how happy I was to hear the words "Dark Trooper" onscreen. And their depiction is just perfect. Just need their BFG, and have some real fun.

It has always been clear that Filoni has been a fan of Open Seasons, and it looks like he is trying to make it as canon as possible. And I am fine with the way they are going with it.

I love how Gideon was with Gizmo. Different than how we have seen him before with other characters, and definitely against the grain of "standard Giancarlo menace". Good to let Giancarlo stretch a bit in his characters.

As for The Tragedy: RIP Razorcrest.

Hmm, I’ve been thinking about which Jedi Grogu would’ve reached out to. We’ve only got six candidates right now; Ezra, Cal, Leia, Luke, another established character, or an original character.

I kinda want it to be Luke.

Since the sequels left those events so vague, they could easily establish that Grogu had survived Ben's betrayal.

If Order 66 didn't wipe out every single Jedi in existence, then I doubt that Ben and his squad of disposal rens could have done the same with Luke's.

As far as I know the destruction of Luke's academy was all Snoke's doing. He sent the First Order in and purged the academy. Ben didn't join the Knights of Ren until after he left Luke.

I think its definitely possible that Grogu could have escaped First Order troops at Luke's academy. But I'd really prefer they didn't go that direction. Grogu has already survived the purge of the Coruscant academy. Him surviving another purge of another academy is too repetitive.

So, Thrawn's DT sentry droids from Rebels are clearly the Phase I. These are the Phase II. Makes me wonder if Gideon has himself as Phase III armor somewhere...

It seems the Razor Crest is a model that has been used before by others given comments on it during the series thus far, so I wouldn't be surprised if he salvages another from somewhere.

1) Boba gives Mando the Slave I... retires/walks into the sunset
2) Boba dies, Mando becomes the new owner
3) [insert new ship]

...it'd be too simple if he gets another "Razor Crest" model of ship. That'd be like blowing up the Falcon and then giving Han a new Corellian YT-1300f light freighter.

I don't see Boba retiring or dying as I'm really expecting them to be banking on a show now. And honestly I'd be very much down for that, especially if Ming-Na Wen is part of that. But I agree that they shouldn't just go, hey, another of the same model. That'd be pretty underwhelming and I'd prefer they found a new ship for him to use.

Hell, maybe he could get himself one of the Mando ships from Clone Wars/Rebels. Get it from Bo and crew perhaps, make it a personalized one like Maul's was.

TORBILL DANZIN - Sunspot Prison - 23 years for attempted kidnapping of a senator.

It's very probably not going to happen, but if the show gives me Sunspot Prison in live action one day, I'd be a very happy fan.

Also, what is with these prison sentence lengths?
