WandaVision Teyonah Paris is Monica Rambeau

She'll be a major player in the MCU for years to come and I suspect that when Monica pops up somewhere in a major MCU movie that is completely unexpected, the crowd in the theater will scream in excitement at her appearance. I would also suspect that when Captain Marvel 2 comes out in November 2022, she'll feel the love of the MCU fans as she steps upon the red carpet. Teyonah has said that she already felt the love of the MCU fans when her name was announced at Comic-Con 2019. I suspect that Teyonah already knows that this will be the biggest role of her acting career, the one that gives her international recognition and the ability for Teyonah herself to pick her own projects rather than auditioning for them. Who knows, maybe she's also always wanted to produce projects for film and TV behind the camera too and if that's the case, being a part of the MCU could help in that regard. It could get projects off the ground that she's always wanted to do but could not.

I do think the MCU futures of Simu Liu, Iman Velli, the entire cast of the Eternals, Haile Stenfeld, Tatiana Maslany and even Oscar Isaac and Mahershala Ali will be bright though. Somehow I don't feel that way for Wyatt Russell's John Walker.

If she becomes as popular as Lizzie Olsen was as Scarlet Witch she will be. She is the one I think with the brightest future in the MCU.

Probably Carol. I would suspect that Strange will be like Rhodey, Thor and Hulk in that they will not be Avengers, but help whenever needed.

I dont actually think Carol joins the Avengers formally, she'll obviously be there to help out but it's not impossible they keep her in Space. I wouldn't mind a super Guardians team with Carol, Thor, Elder Groot, Gamora and Nova, or perhaps an MCU version of Annihilators down the line.

I think the Earth MCU is building towards Thunderbolts and Young Avengers. Although I'd be okay if I was wrong, I enjoyed Carol in both Settings.

I have a wild prediction about a Zemo led Thunderbolts team, especially if there's still an Avengers squad around on Earth by the team we see Kang face off against the Avengers......but this isn't the right thread to do that.

Maybe Carol could end up crossing paths with the Starjammers (who haven't been introduced yet). She encountered them while in the comics while she was in her Binary form. It would also tie into the X-Men with Corsair being of course Scott Summers's father. But they need to introduce them first and they're a long way away from that point right now.

I think it would be good if Monica does lead the Avengers though. It would make a change with a woman at the helm.

Unless they do something similar to the comics with Falcon where he was assigned to the team by the government (by Henry Gyrich) and not because he was actually invited by them to join the team. Maybe Monica might be put in charge of the Avengers by the government even though they've never met her before (although Wanda has) and it would cause conflict initially but then they'd eventually gain her trust because she's not going to be a simple government stooge and yes woman.

Yep. Also with her new found powers I would suspect that Monica will want in on the fight in the finale rather than escape with Darcy.

Great intro for her here to set up a CM2 appearance. Very much looking forward to seeing more of her.

What this show did for Wanda after years of being relegated to a secondary character was great and much needed for the general audience to understand why Wanda should be a big deal. But for my money, the best thing to come out of this show is Teyonah. Like, I'm really looking forward to seeing Monica again because of what she can bring to the franchise.

I am hoping that by the time Teyonah promotes Candyman in July, she will have already started shooting Secret Invasion.
