Picard Star Trek: Picard - General Discussion Thread

257B97BE-BF8E-4962-9752-34D96B50D96A.jpeg With some DS9 and Voyager characters coming back my dream picks to see return are:

*Benjamin Sisko
*Miles O'Brien
*Julian Bashir
*Quark
*Garak
*Kathryn Janeway
*The Doctor
*Tom Paris

(Sisko and O’Brien are musts for me!!!)

Elder statesman worf is just *chef’s kiss*. Can’t wait to see this

Patrick Stewart is willing to go on for a fourth season if this season does well.

I highly doubt we will get Picard S4. We will get a new TNG show, though. One where he won't be such a focus of the show.

I would of course happily turn up for a fourth season. At least this means they’re not just going to kill him off in the next series

1st decade of the 25th Century would align with Star Trek Online, hence why the Enterprise-F was used.

It works well on a meta level, so I’d say Narrativium demands it.
It's dark inside the Vorlon Cylon enemy ship. I'm guessing the ship is Reman, and that Vadic is Shinzon's daughter. Giving the final season a reference to the final movie (which itself had callbacks to earlier movies) seems like something the show would do, especially with Plummer's real life connection to Trek.

Shinzon had that rapid ageing cellular breakdown problem. Could be something heritable.

A Guinan spin off would rock.
They totally set the stage for Assignment: Earth 2024:
(Re: 2x09)

Captain Rios will be Tallinn's replacement on 2024 Earth, assigned to counter the plots of Colonel Green. Rios will get the best of both worlds: a high-technology secret society, and all the aspects of 21st Century life that he's discovered he really likes. He won't be able to let World War III happen the way he learned in history class, so he'll break the rules when necessary. Teresa will be the Roberta Lincoln to Rios's Gary Seven. Guinan's bar will be a meeting place for agents and other people in the know. All the makings of a series.

In the season finale, we met a second supervisor/agent pair.

Also in the season finale, Guinan told Picard about Rios’ death, just like Worf told Picard about his search for Khitomer survivors in “Birthright, Part 2”:
There was no prison camp. Those young people are survivors of a vessel that crashed in the Carraya system four years ago. No one survived Khitomer.
Picard heard and understood equally well both times.

Wishful thinking coming up, but one can hope...

Two minutes into the third season's trailer, just after Vadic says "But first, we will have vengeance", there's a brief dark clip of a figure pointing a gun, accompanied by a catlike trilling sound:

The figure's face has slanted stripes maybe kinda sorta resembling Ensign Taylor's.

Kzinti in Season Three?

The right people are already hating on this season, so I am going in confident it will be enjoyable.

The 3rd season will be one big feature film for TNG, DS9, and VOY.

Ouch, I didn't realize you held my taste in low regard. :o

Unless you are one of the "Star Trek is too woke" crowd, sorry, not referring to you. Besides, I'm destined to like things you hate.

Found the 13 Monkeys alum that was teased. I'm feeling like I should recognize that young man from somewhere, but I'm drawing a blank.

I did laugh at them turning the bridge whistle into an actual whistle.
