Endgame 14,000,605 solutions(How should endgame have ended)? Spoilers

They should have used Mantis-style Thanos mind manipulation to screw with his purple head allowing them to gang up on him. Or Scarlet Witch-style AOU mind warping.

There are probably 20 characters in Marvel comics that could do the same, but most haven't been introduced in the MCU.

They tried that in Infinity War. It only briefly worked. . . and now Thanos knows about the threat.

Also, given that Mantis could do that to planet-sized cosmic beings, its a bit of a stretch to assume that any other given telepath could also do such.

I think I also suggested the mantis idea used in infinity war and then realized it wouldn’t work

One the reasons why it worked was because the group on titan was alone. No outside interference

Trying that plan during the endgame would be a failure.

Too much outside interferences with everyone fighting thanos army

Mantis would probably get knocked off by a stray blast

Also thanos could still talk while under mantis sleep trick. He could still give the “rain fire” command

would have simply going back in time with Ant-man, Iron-man, Hawkeye and Nebula to the final battle of Infinity wars {who were all not original there) maybe enough alone to have tipped the scales of the battle and give them a better chance of victory?

I don't know if this would have been one of the 14,000,605...
(but just a thought I had while watching the movie)

when Thanos said he reduced the Stones down to atoms, I thought, maybe once they get Ant-man back and he tells them of the quantum realm, they use his tech to shrink down and tracking the cosmic signature of their power, gathers as many of the Atoms from each the Stones that they can, and Tony does his high techy pipline thing to fuse the Atoms into a new element (as a tribute to the scene in iron man 2) to power his Infinity suit giving him just enough power to undo the snap

I am no quantum physicist, so idk if the science{even movie logic science} supports this idea, but that is the first thing that came to my mind at the moment

although, I think that might have been a bite anticlimactic

Reduced the stones down to atoms doesn't refer to shrinking. It means dispersing the very molecular and atomic structure to the four winds. It means destroyed not changed in size.

^wasn't suggesting they were? (nothing is ever truly destroyed on a sub-particle level)
but that's neither here or there....

tho, that does bring me to another interesting theory

once they gathered the stones/made the gauntlet, they should have done one more time jump to before Thanos started collecting the stones (and took a page out of his own book) to use the stones to destroy the stones of that time, so that they never existed in a physically/obtainable forum for Thanos to even collect in the first place

the fact that Thanos was able to "use the stone's to destroy the stones" in this way, without disrupting whatever energy they {supposedly} emit that prevents the universe from descending into chaos... mean's there was a way to safely neutralize the stone's to avoid anyone from getting their hands on them

I don't think Shang-Chi would have been able to stop Thanos on his own had he hypothetically gotten the rings before the events of IW but it's possible that he could have made a difference in the ground battle at Wakanda since he would have been one of the more powerful players on the field after Thor and Wanda.

The Eternals probably would have been able to stop Thanos if they had ignored their mandate to not interfere and worked together to stop him.
