Dexter - Part 6

and.... its pretty bad still. wtf.

Same here. Still good enough to watch (though I think Yellowjackets is better so far)

Yeah I’ve also been loving these four episodes. That smile on Dex’s face at the end of yesterday’s episode smh lol.

The show has been great, really like the environment of Dexter in a small town. The mysteries have been kind of easy but it does not take away from the episodes.
Harrison attacking the kid was obvious and Kurt being the sniper guy that kidnaps. It could only be Kurt or the rich old guy they protested.

They picked a really good actor for Harrison IMO. I swear there are scenes where the kid is able to perfectly mimic the mannerisms of Michael C. Hall to the point where it definitely comes off as a bit creepy.

Seeing where they take his character is what has me the most invested in this season so far because eventhough I have a feeling I know how its going to end I'm still very much engrossed by the journey.

I wonder if Harrison
faked the Facetime call with Kurt, trying to cover for Dexter. And he already knows everything about his Dark Passenger... Or Kurt is just completely crazy, that's also possible I guess

It's probably not one of the best shows of the year, but I'm enjoying it. I would recommend it to anyone who used to watch Dexter. Sure, some things are a bit predictable, but at least I'm not rolling my eyes at all the dumb things like in the last couple of seasons.

Idc what y'all gotta say here, 5 was great. NOW we're getting to the juicy bits

now we're getting somewhere...but there really is some **** that is just absurdly silly, like Harrison cutting that girl and now there's a bloody knife with his prints on it somewhere around there.

Angel had a great appearance... Masuka please god

Wow, I hadn't even thought about the knife...

I've been enjoying it so far. Good stuff. Not as up there as the first four seasons but it's been solid and a much welcome tonic after the last four. I'm liking Harrison and his story as well as Dexter's story and seeing how everything is gonna turn out.

If Harrison is a psychopath, maybe Trinity is his dark passenger. Maybe he's his "father."

Easily the best episode of the season so far and I hope we see more of the older characters return even if its just for nostalgic purposes. This show just keeps getting better each week.

I really like the show, but some of these coincidences are way too convenient. Like the dealer showing up at the bar, seconds after Dexter arrives. (Maybe he was already there? but it didn't take long for Dexter to notice him anyway) Or Batista being at that same spot as Dexter's girlfriend, and he just happens to name drop Harrison... there's no reason why anyone would say the kid's name.

Didn't expect to see Batista, but it was nice to see he's doing well. Enjoyed the episode, but yeah, there were a bit too many conveniences. Admittedly, I did like the idea of Dexter having to improvise and drug the dealer to make it look like an overdose. If he'd stabbed him and fled, which would be incredibly sloppy, all of his stuff would be there and now that his cop girlfriend- her name esapes me now- knows who he is, no doubt she'd ask if he's familiar at all with the Bay Harbor Butcher and why there's suddenly this copycat.

Though Clancy Brown's character shooting that woman as she ran at him, saying it's not supposed to go that way, reminded me of Trinity telling one of his victims that he couldn't push her- that she had to be the one to jump.

I forgot but…

Was Batista made Captain during season 8 or is that a new development? That used to be Matthew’s job, right?
