Do you want a Black Adam II or a movie set after Black Adam 2022 like a team up movie or a Justice Society of America spin off?
Frankly, I have zero interest in any more Black Adam. He's a B grade villain from a superhero comic that not that many people like anyway.
I'd dig a decent JSA film though, if they could bring Brosnan back.
Yep, and that would be fine with me, if not a full JSA movieI'll be real surprised if we see a BA 2 now.
More than likely we'll see Dr Fate and hawkman films first.
Even if this were somewhat of a hit, I dont see a need for a BA solo sequel. From here on out, he should be in Shazam or team movies
I truly have no desire to ever see The Rock play this character again. Not that I dislike the Rock or anything, I just feel he was miscast.
I don't get what is about this character that inspired him so much. Also, antihero Black Adam just isn't interesting to me.
I think its less about the character inspiring him and more "I want to be the star of my own superhero franchise" and Black Adam looks like The Rock and has a similar build and has cool powers, so he picked him. Maybe that is why the movie didn't do very well? Its just a vanity project for The Rock.

Well, this aged like the finest milk, didn't it?
Thing is, in my mind, Black Adam is seen as a villain, first and foremost, then you learn a few snippets and feel for him.. misunderstood maybe.
Rock wasn't brave enough to play a bad guy.. he has too much charm and good will.. he likes being the hero and it sent a confusing message in this movie, he didn't seem bad, just a pissed off dad... but then punisher does that better.
If anything he should have championed to play Steel - I could see him more as John Henry Irons.
Lex Luthor be a fun role too.
The way I would like Lex to be portrayed, is this larger than life, impressive political figure that no on would touch, want to touch... there are rumours he's up to no good but you can't prove it.. he gets away with it.I could see him playing a more amped up version of the STAS Lex Luthor, since that Luthor was way more charismatic, and the problem with Rock's Black Adam was he was so bland and one note.
Steel? Maybe.

however Clark is on his case and right at the end, in private, when superman swoops down, you see that look in his eye, pure evil that shows a fight is on..
