Captain America Civil War was like a mini Avengers movie - they can turn a Black Panther sequel into a mini Avengers/Fantastic Four movie event - should help the MCU feel more interconnected like in earlier phases

No. Civil War is an Avengers movie in just about everything but name.

Hell, it's no more Steve's story than it is Tony's. I know people like to go back and forth on this but no, Civil War is a bonafide Avengers movie. Not mini or partially, but an all out Avengers movie.

Early on everyone expected more but with everything that happened around the world in the last few years and of course with the movie itself, it naturally fell short of what it could have done.

The movie was #3 in the US for 2022 and is on its way past 450m in the US! That's a remarkable achievement! Even if it pales in comparison to the original, that figure is the upper echelon of the MCU for domestic total --not just MCU pretty much all of cinema! It ranks as the 7th all time domestic earner in the MCU!

It came in #6 for the worldwide charts of 2022! Of all the movies released last year only 5 made more money-- not too shabby considering all of its obstacles!

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” had an unusual Tuesday release in Chinese cinemas. Over the Friday-Sunday weekend, it earned $6 million in fifth place. After six days on release it has a cumulative of $12 million.
