More than just a namedrop. It was pretty involved. It also suggests that this takes place before the end of Daredevil Season Three. I suspect the "Harlem Rumble" would be the one early in Season Two when he fought Bushmaster, but it was vague enough to mean lots of things.

I'm glad this episode took the time to focus on Andre and his past. He's got an understandable motivation, but he's also a complete monster. Who would have thought that D'Spayre would be a compelling villain.

I love the discussion of whether someone is redeemable or not.
