Why do you think Thor has less franchise potential then GL?

GL I think sells himself better for a franchise, with the concept of the GL Corp. You can bring in new characters and villains rather readily. Thor I think has a great 1st movie in him, but when he is on Earth he loses a lot of what made the first movie interesting: Asgard. While the GL world will expand, Thor's shrinks. That is why I see him working better in Avengers as opposed to Thor 2.
