From NYCC 2012:

In terms of upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie titles, coming Summer 2013 will be Superman: Unbound, adapting the “Superman: Brainiac” story written by Geoff Johns and originally printed in Action Comics. 2013 will wrap up with Justice League: Flashpoint in the Fall, adapting the controversial DC Comics mini-series Flashpoint which launched the current The New 52 continuity for the publisher.

Miereanu added that Justice League: Flashpoint will likely debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2013.

The series details an altered DC Universe in which only Barry Allen seems to be aware of significant differences between the regular timeline and the altered one, including Cyborg's place as the quintessential hero, Superman's apparent detention by the government and a Thomas Wayne version of Batman who spends "his days running Wayne Casinos."

Kevin Conroy is the only actor so far who will be in this DTV, voicing Batman (of course, though the main Batman is an alternate Thomas Wayne).

This is due out Fall 2013, tieing into what will be the two year anniversary of the DC New 52 relaunch, to which this story led to. Discuss!

Hope this has the core JL in with Superman, Batman etc infact the same group that was in Doom would be good.

Its another dc animated movie that saves me money, i dont like the reboot so why would i watch the animated version of the story that leads up to the messed up universe we have now.
On the other hand they have thomas wayne as batman, so there is a little chance that i buy it.

Well, the main story has major parts for all of the Doom line-up except Green Lantern. Substituting Martian Manhunter for Aquaman though.

Why would I want to watch the event that destroyed DC on film...hmm

Lol, touche, but being that I am hardly a fan of the new 52, it did for me.

the new 52 sucks, and flashpoint was garbage. the few DC animated movies i've seen are pretty bad too. so i got so much of no interest in this one.

The New 52 doesn't suck and I though Flashpoint was a good story. If people don't like the new 52 then read Green Lantern, that is really the only character that didn't get affected by the relaunch.

I do enjoy what Snyder has done with Batman. The Penguin: Pain and Prejudice miniseries was also great, but by and large, I disagree.

More power to you if you enjoy it though, no problem to me. It is what it is, I'll just stick to classic DC and be okay :)

At the end of the day, because I love just about every DC Animated movie, I'll probably eventually get around to seeing this at some point. I Just think there are better stories out there to be adapted to movie format. Hoping for the best.

Continuity heavy stories as stand alone animated features are pointless. Just bring back the JLU.

I like the new 52 as well I mean why not most f the comics were a mess anyway and they can always go back in future, one day they might remember they did bring back the multiverse.

I do like the Batman and the Flash comics for the most part. It's not all bad.

Though I do hate Power Girl's new outfit. What a step backwards and total misunderstanding of that character.

I wish the Flash could have his own movie but if this is all the Flash were getting im okay with it

Flashpoint was ****ing great. Can't wait for this, although I'm wodnering how much they'll leave in/out and if they'll even go for the Pandora-reboot thing.

What if every movie after this is based on the New 52.

I think Bruce Timm confirmed the new 52 isn't going to effect what they're doing. I suppose why would it tbh I'm sure there's a large majority if people who watch these that don't keep up to date with comics.

I don' think it destroyed DC on film. i actually believe the Flashpoint storyline is the best to be adapted in the upcoming JLA Movie.

think about it, you leave Bruce Wayne alone but you still keep Batman around (or you can even introduce a new Bruce Wayne), people know who Hal Jordan is and not having him as the GL doesn't hurt at all, its a great introduction to Barry Allen (all those flashbacks with his mom), you will have Henry Cavill's Superman to work with, the Aquaman vs Wonder Woman war will explore the characters and give you ideas for a sequel which is gonna be a proper JLA movie. You have enough elements to make it both serious and comic booky.
