The next DCUA film after Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is another Justice League animated film, and it just so happens to be the Justice League story that was published right after Flashpoint. Adapting "Justice League: Origin" by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, the next DCUA film will be titled Justice League: War, as a representative for Warner Home Video has confirmed.
Scheduled for release come Winter 2013/2014, much as the story it is adapting: in a universe where Super Heroes are strange and new, Batman has discovered a dark evil that requires him to unite the World Greatest Heroes! Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg unite for the first time to form the Justice League!
Initial cast and crew details for Justice League: War have also been released, and are as follows: Jason OMara (Terra Nova) as Batman, Alan Tudyk (Firefly) as Superman, Michelle Monaghan (Source Code) as Wonder Woman, Justin Kirk (Angels in America) as Green Lantern, Christopher Gorham (Ugly Betty) as The Flash, and Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds) as Cyborg. The DCAU film will be directed by Jay Oliva, with Heath Corson adapting the original Justice League: Origin story written by Geoff Johns.
Warner Home Video is expected to release further details on Justice League: War, along with future DC Universe Animated Original Movie titles, this week during the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, most likely at the premiere of Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, hitting shelves on July 30th, 2013, on Friday, July 19th, 2013. Justice League: War is set for release come Winter 2013/2014 as part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line from Warner Home Video.
