Sequels Recasting the X-Men for the MCU

For a reboot, I'd have a smaller team and have them be teenagers much like in the first issues. I'd also use characters which were ignored,used badly or given short shrift by fox.

I'd have Wolverine be with Alpha Flight at this point and have him appear separately in another MCU film much in the way Spiderman and Black Panther were introduced.

As far as a team goes

Professor X

Cyclops- the reluctant leader 17
Emma Frost- The troubled, mysterious youth , butting heads with Charles and Scott 16
Angel- The cocky rich kid ,17
Jubilee - the youngest and our in into the group 14
Storm- The old soul of the group despite being 16

It's fine if you don't like those casting suggestions (I'm admittedly terrible at fan casting, lol) but to claim that they don't look the part is a bit weird.

Its not just about hair color. Steinfeld looks like a kid and can't do "sexy" IMO. While Strahovski gives TV actress only vibe than a soon to be a film star. Emma Frost needs a lot of presence and star factor imo to really Stand out.

I just think Rogue should be similar age to Brie Larson so she can apart of Captain Marvel franchise as a villain maybe.


X-MEN should just play ball and fully integrate. Iceman similar age to Spider-Man etc etc

It's the MCU, not FOX.

We've had Glenn Close as a barely present NOVA leader. You can have Streep as Destiny, no problem.

I haven't seen any suggestions yet, but I just wanted to say that I'd love for Gillian Anderson to be Moira MacTaggert. I'm not quite sure if she can do a Scottish accent, but she's at least got experience with the British isles.
