Thoughts on my first episode (reposted from the other thread):

I like the differences and similarities. A lot of the character of their backstory is the same, but the origin of their powers, of course, seems very different. Also, they're drawing Roxxon from the Ultimate version.

Once again with drawing from the source material as well as changing it, I love that they're not shying away from drug use, which was an important part of the original story, and they're also not afraid to have Tandy use drugs (particularly given the demographics of the heroin epidemic today). I always thought the original story was a cop out by not having them intentionally use drugs.

I love that image on the roof.

I have more thoughts for issue two, which were sort of together, but I'll try and split them up.
