Season 7 General Discussion

Yeah, don't they have some other thing they say so they can still sound current? The last winter before the show started wasn't even that long ago.

They don't always use 'Winter' as the season... Robb uses it as a reference to the North all together... "Tell Tywin Lannister Winter is coming for him. 20,000 men marching south to see if he really does **** gold."

Does it strike any as weird that House Stark's words during winter are 'Winter is coming'?

On the AsOIAF forums, we noted that you can take the Stark words three ways:

1. Winter (the season) is coming (so we should all prepare for apocalyptic conditions, and it's going to suck.)

2. Winter (something we at Winterfell can survive with our heated walls and glass gardens) is coming (and you don't have Winterfell, do you, so we will outlast you if you're an enemy.)

3. Winter (as in, the King of Winter) is coming (so your ass is grass.)

Some huge spoiler pics involving a menacing looking [blackout]Euron[/blackout] with captives [blackout] Yara, Ellaria and Tyene[/blackout] being paraded through [blackout]King's Landing[/blackout] :wow:

Euron or Cersei will do horrible things to those women.

And the Queen's Guard (I assume it is.) has new armor. It is black with silver shoulder pieces and silver gauntlets. The shoulder pieces match the shoulder pieces on Cersei's season 6 coronation outfit.

Euron's new look/new sigil is a big step up from his appearance last season.

**** his sigil. it has a crows eye. but he doesnt?

**** D&D

Either the actor must not have liked it or they thought it would be too piratey/similar to Dondarrion's.

The actor was all for a book accurate Euron, (he often talks to fans about the Forsaken chapter and whether or not Euron is demonic in nature) as I recall he mentioned D&D vetoed the eyepatch because they thought the pirate look was silly.

i'd have been content with no eyepatch, just the ****ed up eye.
