In addition, Warner Bros. announced today that the untitled animation film on June 1 next year has moved to July 27 and is now known as Teen Titans Go!

WB's TEEN TITANS GO! drops July 27, 2018.

I didn't want to make a thread before the trades corroborated this news but even Box Office Mojo has a yet untitled WB animation movie on their release schedule. It's also slated for July 27, 2018. So all of this is most likely legit. Let the discussion begin

Lol no replies.

No surprise there. This show isn't horrible, but the original series was far superior. It's hard to get excited for this movie though considering the fact that Young Justice is returning and we're getting a live action Titans series.

This will probably be a WBA movie instead of being a WAG movie. I don't think TTG and Smallfoot will release one month from each other. The movie is gonna be cheap compared to other animation studio products or WB's own Warner Animation Group movies so a nice profit margin is on the cards here.

This is basically a showcase for the TV show on CN. Teen Titans Go gets the special/red carpet treatment by CN among the WB/DC shows so this thing will probably run on CN for ages after it's debut.

The movie is entirely for kids, I doubt this will appeal to adults all that much. Parents will be under duress to watch this along with their little ones and they're likely to regret their decision going by online consensus of the show. So I can only hope that this will be good enough for the kids to enjoy and have a great time at the theaters.

I'm a bit disappointed that this slot didn't go to a DC Super Hero Girls movie. That would have been a much better alternative IMO.

Well, it's a show that strictly targets kids, so I don't think it'll get much discussion compared to ones that go for teens and up.

Will Arnett and Kristen Bell join Teen Titans GO! to the Movies

Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Will Arnett (The LEGO Batman Movie) and Kristen Bell (Frozen) have joined the voice cast of the upcoming Teen Titans GO! feature film, which is now officially titled Teen Titans GO! to the Movies.

The animated feature will also feature the voice cast of the series including Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Scott Menville as Robin, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven, and Hynden Walch as Starfire. In the film, they reprise their roles from the Cartoon Network series, which follows the crime fighting adventures and antics of the young Super Hero roommates.

The film will be directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath, based on characters from DC. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan are producing, with Sam Register, Jelenic and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett, all are Teen Titans GO! series contributors.

Never got the bashing or comparisons with this show. It's fun, and that is it's only goal. It was never trying to be or replace Young Justice and the original Teen Titans. The way the episodes have reacted to the internet has been pretty funny.

Everyone I know really likes it regardless of their age. Most of the stuff on the show plays on breaking down 80s nostalgia and nerd culture so makes sense.

Would have preferred the Original Teen Titans animated movie over this.

The movie is now officially titled as 'Teen Titans Go! To The Movies' :funny: :funny: :funny:

Movie actually has a lot of potential, just imagine some crazy plot with Control Freak rebooting them or they travel different realities(OG Teen Titans, CG, Live Action, Lego)

It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!

The Night Begins to Shiiiiiinnnne!

Honestly, I'm very smitten with that type of animation. It's different from any others the TTG animators have done... reminds me of Samurai Jack mixed with Silverhawks/Thundercats 80s Intros.

I'm sure it's expensive and time consuming to do though.

I'll watch it.

Not sure if this an official poster or not. Anyway, the trailer drops tomorrow. I hope it turns out to be a good one to get me pumped for TTGTTM.

Dat Wonder Woman joke.

Dude! Taking my daughter to see this with me. We're totally going to watch this at the movies!

Man, the Like/Dislike ratios on the trailers.

That Aquaman joke about anyone getting a movie...it's true, though. That honestly made me laugh more than everything else in the trailer. I'm gonna be honest, I'll probably see this. I don't follow Go as much as I do the original Teen Titans, but what I've seen from it has been quite funny and I like how self-aware it is at times. Could've done without the fart joke, but hey, it'll work for someone.

So technically Cyborg has been on the big screen twice.

The trailer alone was funnier than Lego Batdouche. I'm down with this, and I know my kiddos will be.

never watched the show, but I'll absolutely go for the meta humor it seems to have.

might have to start the show too from what I hear.
